Magyar: Szecsődy Demeter 1418. szeptember 11-én Ulmban Zsigmondtól kapott címert atyafiaival Dáviddal és Jánossal.
DL 38.100 A Szecsődy-család multja II. Endre király idejéig vihető vissza. A közös ős, Churnuk fia István, 1205-ben kapja adományban a nevet adó vasmegyei Szecsődöt. A czímerszerző Demeter, a család ma élő tagjainak ősatyja, Zsigmond király európai nagy útja alatt a kisérethez tartozott. Elkisérte királyát útja legtávolabbi helyeire, Spanyol-, Franczia-, Angolországokba, Hollandiába is. E nagy út végeztével Ulmban kapta hűsége és szolgálatai jutalmáúl szép czímerét, melylyel a család azóta is él.
