Notes

eedit
  1. Hanover is the tradeetional English spellin. The German spelling (wi a double n) is becoming mair popular in English; recent editions o encyclopedias prefer the German spelling[3][4] and local government uses the German spelling on English websites.[5] The English pronunciation is applied to both the German and English spellings. The traditional English spelling should always be used in historical contexts, especially when referring to the British House of Hanover.
