WRT to [[Commons:Deletion requests/File:Primitive man.png]] - I would have voiced a {{tl|keep}} in this DR.

May I bring to your attention {{tl|license review}}? I use it where a {{tl|flickrreview}} will give a false negative, or on other images which may trigger controversy in the future.

It is supposed to call for a trusted human volunteer to concur that an image is properly licensed as free.

When does flickrreview give a false positive? There are hundreds, or perhaps thousands, of flickr contributors who are DoD employees, who don't know squat about copyright, who routinely upload images that must be considered public domain, because they are the work of DoD employees, but give them "all rights reserved" licensing. Flickrreview fails on these. Public domain images from other US Federal agencies can suffer from this issue.

I encourage you to use {{tl|license review}} on other images like this one, where you can't rely on flickrreview.

A heads-up

WRT to Commons:Deletion requests/File:Primitive man.png - I would have voiced a {{Keep}} in this DR.

May I bring to your attention {{License review}}? I use it where a {{Flickrreview}} will give a false negative, or on other images which may trigger controversy in the future.

I encourage you to use {{License review}} on other images like this one, where you can't rely on flickrreview.
