No information provided per COM:EVID to verify that this logo was indeed created by an employee of the US federal government as part their official duties and thus is within the public domain per {{PD-USGov}}. The file being used for identification in en:Fox Chapel Area School Distric, a local school district within the US State of Pennsylvania. State, county, and municipal empoyees are not "federal government employees" and the works they create are subject to individual state copyright laws, etc. Pennsylvnia doesn't appear to a be one of the states in which works created by its employees are clearly public domain per the Harvard Library's State Copyright Resource Center; in fact, the Harvard site lists Pennsylvania as a "red" state which implies that works created by its employees are presumed to be copyrighted. In addition, the school district's official website is protected under copyright and there's no indication that the district's logo is PD or otherwise released under a free license. It might be possible that this logo is too simple for copyright protection per COM:TOO United States, but I think that would be a close call since the fox imagery does seem rather creative. Unless this can be coverted to {{PD-logo}} or VRT verified, I don't think it can be kept per COM:PCP. --Marchjuly (talk) 01:09, 10 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
