fake account on Flickr, uploading images from Google without any EXIF data to prove ownership Riad Salih (talk) 00:37, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Riad Salih

You can't accuse someone without proof that their Flickr account is fake. Also, if several people work for this account and obtain permissions to distribute the images is possible, legal, and you have no right to think that it is a fake account.

Everything is correct: the person on their flickr account has saved the photograph and placed it in the public domain.

You can't accuse people like that. Besides, as long as there are no complaints, it will be difficult for you to accuse him.
What a waste of time...

But it's okay, I'm going to Morocco, to Tangier in a few weeks, I'll stop by the Ibn Battuta Museum and I can take photographs. It will be really cool. I should also go to the other museums because there are so many historical clothes to take photos of and add to Wikipedia.

So, this is not a problem, but accusing someone is not a good thing to do...

This Flickr account is obviously fake, using a fake name and an unrealistic profile picture of a warrior. The account is associated with the extremist Moroccan Moorish movement's ideology.
The images on this account appear to be sourced from Google and are accompanied by extensive descriptions. They are labeled under a CC1 public domain license, with incorrect upload dates to create the illusion of being older than the originals. It seems that the intention behind these actions is to deceive and gain permission to upload images on Commons. Best regards. Riad Salih (talk) 13:37, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
