Deutsch: 08.07.2016 01723 Wilsdruff, Kirchplatz: Die evangelische Nikolaikirche entstand 1896-99 am Standort eines Vorgängerbaus aus dem frühen 13. Jahrhundert. Die durch neogotische bzw. neoromanische Stilelemente geprägte Hallenkirche mit polygonalem Chor ist der erste Kirchenbau nach Plänen des Architekt Woldemar Kandler. Für die Fassade verwendete man Bruchsteine (Syenit vom Wilsdruffer Kirschberg), von dem sie die Fenstergewände aus
Rochlitzer Porphyr kontrastreich abheben. Am 20. September 1897 fand die Weihe statt. Von 1994 an wurde die Kirche außen abschnittsweise saniert. Mit schmiedeeisen beschlagenen Tür im Südosten. [SAM6878.JPG]20160708420DR.JPG(c)Blobelt |
