historical image of Arthur Griffith, third leader of Sinn Féin and later President of Dáil Éireann, who died in August 1922. It is widely used in posters, leaflets, books. Given the age and the fact that it is widely used (the most widely used image of him) there is no grounds for thinking that it is still in copyright if it ever was.
