Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde von Otto Hupp entworfen und enstammt einem Siegel von 1238. Der Reichsadler erinnert an die Erhebung des ehemaligen Fleckens zur Reichsstadt durch Kaiser Friedrich II. im Jahre 1226.
