I actually preferred this location because it was winter and the camp ground was fairly empty, it gave better views of the whole beach, I could set my tent up right at the water's edge at a high point in the sand and it was right next to a spectacular boulder on the beach. The boulder looks smaller than me here due to the wide angle lens but it was really much taller than me. This can be seen in the next photo. This one-person tent is a Big Agnes Fly Creek HV UL1. I am modeling an Icebreaker men's Oasis long sleeve hoodie of merino wool, Bodyfit fit and Gritstone Heather / Stealth colors. I wear this on top of a green/gray Icebreaker merino wool T-shirt. A black Eastbay Evapor 6" compression short keeps the green wool T-shirt tucked in and doubles as hiking shorts when it is warm. My hiking pants are Vuori Abrasionless in black.
