Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 87.80 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 13.25 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 9.17 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 5.35 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 4.40 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 4.33 crore), Godha Cabcon & Insul(numbers of share traded: 4.05 crore), BEL(numbers of share traded: 3.95 crore), Motherson Sumi(numbers of share traded: 3.89 crore) and Alok Industries(numbers of share traded: 3.74 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 131.36 points up at 24141.95, while BSE Sensex ended up 443.46 points at 79476.19.

On the other hand, NTPC Ltd.(down 2.28 per cent), State Bank of India(down 0.83 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 0.81 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.76 per cent) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.74 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
