Meanwhile, BBC's exit polls are suggesting a landslide victory for the Labour Party, which means that leftist lawyer-turned centrist Keir Starmer may take over the office of the Prime Minister once the results are in. However, nothing can be said for sure until the last vote is counted and the final results are announced. When will a Party be able to claim majority?

326 seats are needed for an overall majority for any party to claim power in the UK Parliament. BBC's exit polls suggest that out of the 650 constituencies hanging in the bargain will see 410 going to the Labour Party, with the Conservatives gaining a mere 131. Interestingly, Nigel Farage's Reform UK party can secure 13 seats in these elections, while the Lib Dem and the SNP receiving 61 and 10 seats respectively, as per the predictions of BBC's exit polls.
