==Pruning Categories==
You seem to be removing categories from alot of Native American subjects. Although I agree that some are redundant and should be removed, not all of your removals, in my opinion, should be removed. Specifically removing "cultures"(such as the [[Coles Creek culture]]) from the list of [[Category:Archaeological cultures]]. Can we reach a little bit of concensus on this matter?

About Mirian (entertainer)

Hi there. I am not used to leaving messages on talke pages, so forgive me if I do this wrong. But I noticed that you, like me, is taking issue with a couple of IPs determined to change Miriam_(entertainer) to say "he" instead of "she" throghout. Your last change left a whole lot of male pronouns in there, leaving the article a bit self-contradictory. Just wanted to ask you to be careful when looking at that article. It's been getting a lot of anonymous IP attention really. Bye bye, and sorry if I messed this message up, or it is inappropriate. Dendlai (talk) 04:55, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Dr. Al Carroll

A tag has been placed on Dr. Al Carroll requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 21:33, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
