"Eh, Eh"
Song

"Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)" is a pop song by an American pop singer Lady GaGa from her debut album The Fame. It has been announced as the third single in Australia and New Zealand only . It is receiving much promotion in Australia and recently in New Zealand, due to an increase in radio play.

Song release

The single is to be officially released on January 31, 2009 from Australian music retail and online music outlets on February 2, 2009.[2] The Australian discount department store Big W, has the single cover art listed on their website.[3] "Eh, Eh" was the second most added song on Australian radio on the week beginning December 15, 2008.[4][5] This song was confirmed as an Australian single on Lady Gaga's official website on January 15, 2009. An official remix was also posted on her website that day. It will not be released as the third single in North America as "LoveGame" will be their third single.[6] Instead, it is planned to be released as the fourth North American single during summer.

Reception

In a review in the The Guardian, Alexis Petridis noted that "Eh, Eh" bears the influence of early 90s Europop and "is the first song in a long time that warrants comparison to the œuvre of Ace of Base".[7]

Chart performance

"Eh Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)" made its debut inside the ARIA Singles Chart at number #38 due to strong digital sales. The following week it climbed to peak #32. This debut into the ARIA chart top 50 was by downloads alone as a physical CD single has not yet been released.

In New Zealand, "Eh, Eh" debuted at number fourty on the issue dated January 19, 2009.[8]
