Hi, I saw your edit on Briana Banks and wanted to mention that Notability for Porn actors is not only different from regular BLP, but quite specific as explained in WP:PORNBIO. What you removed wasn't peacokery as much as it was just addressing article requirements. But its a valid point nonetheless especially if you did not know about the extra requirements. --Scalhotrod - Just your average banjo playing, drag racing, cowboy... Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bartender (manga), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Spin-off. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your GA nomination of Ganga Bruta

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Ganga Bruta you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Zanimum -- Zanimum (talk) 00:22, 9 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Black Cat

Hello, I can not source that piece from Black Cat because I did not add it. It was added by Tintor2 with this edit[1] in 2009. I actually looked in all of Viz's volumes when I was working on the article a couple months ago, but couldn't find it in there. Xfansd (talk) 01:36, 9 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hm, ok. Aside of that, there is nothing more to add to "Production"? Early in this year I started to work to clean up, with also remote possibility to take it to GAN. I couldn't find much on proudction, though; you, Xfansd, gave a great help by adding stuff to the section. Now, the only hindrance I see to a GAN is the reception. It's not difficult, though; threre's a ton of sources at the talk. If I could expand it do you think it can be a GA? Also, would you be able to help me? Gabriel Yuji (talk) 01:57, 9 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have any more production; all I have is Viz's volumes and I would have added more when I was working on it a couple months ago if I had any. But I'll check them once more. In my opinion it is GA, but I tend to stay away from accessing articles; it seems every time I request reassessment at WP:ANIME/ASSESS, it always ends up being lower than I expected. I'll help where I can, I'll definitely be watching the page and if I see anything like grammar issues I'll jump in. I haven't seen the anime by the way. Xfansd (talk) 02:30, 9 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, to have your eyes seems enough to me. I don't know when exactly I'll start because the reception is always the hard part to me (that's why I've worked on other sections and stopped abruptly). However, I'll totally need you when I do so as (you may know) I'm not a native so my English is probably not the best. Thanks, Xfansd! Gabriel Yuji (talk) 02:49, 9 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, Tintor2, could you reply about the info you add? From where you got it? Thanks, Gabriel Yuji (talk) 03:03, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I've been summoned! I actually saw that in the Japanese version of the book. I didn't know Viz removed it.Tintor2 (talk) 14:03, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Tintor2: No problem. Could you cite the volume from which the statement was took from? The chapter and/or the page would be helpful too. Gabriel Yuji (talk) 16:35, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It was in the final volume during the afterword. Sadly, I don't have access to it right now.Tintor2 (talk) 22:24, 19 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. We have no deadline. Regards, Gabriel Yuji (talk) 22:27, 19 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've found it where Yabuki says "This mark the end of Train's freedom-seeking ride". Well, it's not exactly saying its is the "central theme" but can be useful. Xfansd, the official translation by Viz Media would be better, though; does it include it? Gabriel Yuji (talk) 23:11, 26 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't see Tintor's comment from July 16. The afterword in Viz's release simply says "Train's journey has now come to an end." Xfansd (talk) 23:27, 26 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the way it's written in Viz's version doesn't seem so attractive. I'd prefer to remove it... What do you think, Xfansd, Tintor2. Hm... btw, the final of production mentions Yabuki wanted to use Train or Eve in another series... Most fans have noticed the similarity between Eve and Golden Darkness of To Love Ru. Is there any chance of you having any official source on this matter, Xfansd? Gabriel Yuji (talk) 23:40, 26 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If Tintor can read Japanese and says that the original states Train's journey is the theme, then the Japanese release can be cited for that. I say we remove it and if Tintor (or anyone else) is ever able to verify it at a latter date, it could always be added again. I know nothing about To Love Ru and have no material on it. But considering he said that he wanted to use them again, their similar appearance and the fact that Golden Darkness was created by a Tearju Lunatique (who also looks identical), I don't see how there could be any doubt. Xfansd (talk) 00:05, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
1) Yeah, for sure. 2) Even if it's explict we need a source; sadly, none of use have... I'll try to look for it some day. Thanks, Gabriel Yuji (talk) 00:19, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Monk: Adversaries

That does it....

...I have NEVER seen a more stuck-up, snobbish website than Wikipedia. I'm sorry... but it infuriates me. Screw the invalidity claim of 'original research'... it is nothing but bullshit. I read those MONK books with my own eyes... and everything listed in the 'Adversaries' section regarding Dylan Swift and Ian Ludlow is accurate. Everything documented is the truth, whether anyone here at Wikipedia acknowledges it to be so or not. You can either choose to acknowledge it or not acknowledge it... but it is still the truth. Wikipedia's Policy, however strict these puffed up snobs like to brag about, did not 'SPEAK' Adrian Monk into existence, and laid out the foundational laws of the world Andy Breckman created. Nor did Lee Goldberg bow before Wikipedia's Policy and consulted WIKIPEDIA when he wrote those 'Monk' novels.

My own area of expertise happens to be in writing and story structure, this includes all terminology that any professional writer studies: Plot twists, Pinches, Tropes, Character Arcs, and Character descriptions. If you (the people who run this site) are that much against original research, you would do well to wipe out the pages of every famous pioneer who ever lived. You should get rid of the pages about Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Orville and Wilbur Wright, Benjamin Franklin, George Lucas, Pixar Animation Studios, and possibly even Walt Disney. ALL of these men had their hand in original research, prior to becoming famous.

If ANYONE at Wikipedia has a problem with the info regarding Monk's adversaries, pick a bone with the author, Lee Goldberg, and let HIM tell you. Otherwise, stop lording this holier-than-thou-art policy over everyone's heads. Given my experience on this site, if I ever met someone in person who expressed an interest in joining Wikipedia, I would do everything possible to talk them out of it. It simply is not worth the effort.

Wikipedia is NOT a community of friends... it is an Oligarchy made up of elitist snobs. I'm sorry to have sent such a message, but nevertheless... it is ABOUT TIME that somebody did. Good day.

Gunsmith Cats

I don't think I use British English as such, more a mix of the two. I guess how obvious that is depends on the article. Thats one reason why I generally don't try to do any serious copy editing. The exception is if I'm quoting, I'll use whatever spelling is in the original (assuming it's not a typo). As for dates, I always use, full MDY for consistency, even in references and will change short forms when working on an article. It's not an especially British subject so I assume British spelling/dates if used will probably be corrected manually or via AWB etc. GSCats is the perfect example of the sort of page where short form dates can be confusing (three regions) and for long form it's better to use MDY for consistency.SephyTheThird (talk) 07:30, 14 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Mr. Monk Takes Manhattan

I'm going to take a much better look at it tomorrow to make the prose more succinct, but I tried to trim some of the fat in the plot section as per your request to the copy editors. Barring the second sentence, which needs some sort of punctuation/rewording, the plot flows a little better. If you disagree with me shaving an entire paragraph don't be afraid to let me know.
