Revision as of 21:24, 23 March 2020
This is a list of redirects that have been proposed for deletion or other action on March 23, 2020.
Jewish Maoism
- Jewish Maoism → Jewish left (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
While Jewish Maoism would logically belong under the larger umbrella of the Jewish left, there's no discussion of it at the article, and I couldn't find relevant discussion elsewhere, so this will probably disappoint readers. BDD (talk) 21:15, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Racial homogeneity
- Racial homogeneity → Racialism#Racialism as pretext for separatism or supremacism (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
I was looking for a discussion of racial/ethnic homogeneity and a list or discussion of which countries have more or less racial and ethnic diversity. The closest thing I've been able to find to that is Monoethnicity, but race isn't necessarily same as ethnicity, so I don't know if that's a suitable target. At this point, I'd be ok with retargeting there or deleting. (Note that the section this redirect targets is no longer there.) BDD (talk) 21:07, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Coomalie (disambigaution)
- Coomalie (disambigaution) → Coomalie (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Typo in disambiguation qualifier 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 20:37, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Ok can we merge all of these into one nomination? There are like 15 of these so far. OcelotCreeper (talk) 20:54, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:RDAB. User:DPL bot flags links through misspelt (disambiguation) qualifiers as WP:INTDAB errors. To DABfixers, they're a pest.
- And, support merge of all similar nominations. My !vote will be identical in all of them. Narky Blert (talk) 21:01, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Eslam Qal`eh (disambguation)
- Eslam Qal`eh (disambguation) → Eslam Qaleh (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Typo from disambiguation qualifier and wrongly placed grave accent. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 20:35, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Grimmelshausen (diasmbiguation)
- Grimmelshausen (diasmbiguation) → Grimmelshausen (disambiguation) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Typo in disambiguation qualifier, existed for four years. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 20:34, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete without looking twice. I know more and can do more about cleanup now than when I moved the (diasmbiguation) page to (disambiguation) in 2016. Narky Blert (talk) 20:42, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
(disambiguation)
- (disambiguation) → Disambiguation (disambiguation) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Could equally link to WP:DAB or Disambiguation, WP:XY. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 20:28, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Retargetto Word-sense disambiguation, the broad topic this relates to. -- Tavix (talk) 20:30, 23 March 2020 (UTC)- ...or Keep per Narky Blert. Turns out there is a current example at Sanjeev Kumar. -- Tavix (talk) 21:04, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- There's some really confusing history over there. Wbm1058, have you got an idea what's going on? – Uanfala (talk) 20:46, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Strong keep and then some. This is an extremely useful redirect. I have fixed at least half-a-dozen bad links where User:DPL bot had flagged this specific link. It picks up accidental typos where an editor has copy/pasted e.g. John Smith (disambiguation) in a hatnote as (disambiguation). Narky Blert (talk) 20:50, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
North Gippsland (disambiguatoin)
- North Gippsland (disambiguatoin) → North Gippsland (disambiguation) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Typo in disambiguation qualifier from move. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 20:26, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Dab page
Retarget to WP:DAB. I see no other meanings of DAB that include pages. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 20:23, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Retarget per nom. Fortunately, the result of that 2010 discussion is not binding precedent. Narky Blert (talk) 21:22, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Crambe (diambiguation)
- Crambe (diambiguation) → Crambe (disambiguation) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Typo in disambiguation qualifier, existed for six years. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 20:10, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Sideman (diambiguation)
- Sideman (diambiguation) → Sideman (disambiguation) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Typo in disambiguation qualifier from move, existed for five years. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 20:10, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Binzhou (diambiguation)
- Binzhou (diambiguation) → Binzhou (disambiguation) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]

Warning shot (diambiguation)
- Warning shot (diambiguation) → Warning Shot (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Typo in disambiguation qualifier from move. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 20:08, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
$cientology
- $cientology → Scientology controversies (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
I don't think we need a satiric misspelling for any purpose. See also [[1]]. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 20:03, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Kase (disambigation)
- Relation (disamiguation) → Relation (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]

- Climate change (disabiguation) → Climate change (disambiguation) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Typo in disambiguative qualifier. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 19:42, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- What does the phrase "disambiguative qualifier" mean please? S a g a C i t y (talk) 19:52, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Saga City: The user means that the typo in the redirect comes from the word "disambiguation". OcelotCreeper (talk) 19:56, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- @OcelotCreeper: Comment: Pings only work when added in the same edit as the signature. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 20:02, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- So just fix it - I can't see why this is being discussed here. S a g a C i t y (talk) 20:05, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- See Template:R from unnecessary disambiguation. I remembered a similar wording to be used somewhere, now found the source. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 20:07, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- @1234qwer1234qwer4: Thanks for explaining how pinging works, this is my first ping where someone hadn't pinged me first in the same conversation. OcelotCreeper (talk) 20:56, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Saga City: The user means that the typo in the redirect comes from the word "disambiguation". OcelotCreeper (talk) 19:56, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- I'm happy to fix these, if somebody throws the "page mover" right my way. Dr. Vogel (talk) 20:12, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- That comment shows why you should not be getting page mover thrown your way. See WP:MOVEREDIRECT for an explanation why it is generally advisable not to move redirects. -- Tavix (talk) 20:19, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- How exactly would this right help with deleting these pages? 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 20:20, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry, I misread what the problem was. I thought it was just the case of moving them to the titles with the correct spelling. Was just trying to be helpful. Dr. Vogel (talk) 20:35, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- How exactly would this right help with deleting these pages? 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 20:20, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete all — Each of these targets has a correctly spelled version. These misspelled redirects are not (and should not) be used in article-space links, and are highly unlikely to be typed into a search. — Gorthian (talk) 21:00, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete all per WP:RDAB. User:DPL bot flags links through misspelt (disambiguation) qualifiers as WP:INTDAB errors. To DABfixers, they're a pest.
Antonio j pietro
- Antonio j pietro → Aspen Technology (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
The company's exec is Antonio Pietri. Misspelling + miscapitalization seems like far enough of an edit distance to justify deletion, if not speedy deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 19:37, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. This could be someone else altogether. Narky Blert (talk) 21:04, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Paza (disambiuation)
- Paza (disambiuation) → Paza (disambiguation) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Typo in disambiguative qualifier, although existed as R from move for over five years. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 19:37, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Shaken baby syndrom
- Shaken baby syndrom → Abusive head trauma (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
No need for a misspelled redirect, especially since this overshadows the correctly spelled Shaken baby syndrome in the search box. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 19:12, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. This isn't even WP:CHEAP, and might confuse readers who don't know the word 'syndrome'. Narky Blert (talk) 21:06, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
JohnAbbott
- JohnAbbott → John Abbott (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
No reason for CamelCase here. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 19:07, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Keep as {{R with history}} dating back to 2001. As I understand it, these are usually kept as "relics" and to preserve (i.e. not break) links, for example on Nostalgia Wikipedia, where CamelCase titles are the norm. ComplexRational (talk) 19:39, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Keep, this is page #565. No reason to delete here. -- Tavix (talk) 20:26, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Pennfylvania
- Pennfylvania → Pennsylvania (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Failed attemmpt at inserting a long s, i.e. Pennſylvania. Same user created two other redirects listed below. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 19:03, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
EPnnsylvania
- EPnnsylvania → Pennsylvania (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Miscapitalized and implausibly misspelled. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 18:56, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete. OTtally MIplausible. Narky Blert (talk) 21:08, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Oregroun
Unlikely misspelling. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 18:56, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Norse Dakota
- Norse Dakota → North Dakota (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Not even close to plausible. Created by a MascotGuy sock. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 18:56, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
State of new yourk
- State of new yourk → New York (state) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Miscapitalized and misspelled. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 18:51, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete. The only rename I think could work already exists. OcelotCreeper (talk) 20:04, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Xichigan
Supposedly a non-neutral nickname for Michigan, but not mentioned anywhere on Wikipedia. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 18:47, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Lwizyana
Bizarre misspelling. Is this a WP:FORRED, by any chance? –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 18:43, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Comment: ht:Baton Rouge, Lwizyana shows that it's in Haitian Creole. this page Indicates that Louisiana Creole uses "Lwizyan" WhisperToMe (talk) 18:48, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
NCoV (SARS)
- NCoV (SARS) → Severe acute respiratory syndrome-related coronavirus (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
WP:XY. From what understood from Novel coronavirus, nCoV is used for strains and not species. In this case, the title could refer to SARS-CoV or SARS-CoV-2. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 16:46, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
- Conditional keep: Do articles exist for either one of the aforementioned subjects? If not, "keep" would be the default choice here. Steel1943 (talk) 20:42, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete This is an implausible search term, and not mentioned on the current target. And to answer Steel1943’s question, yes they do exist, as one caused SARS and the other is causing the current pandemic. --awkwafaba (📥) 14:05, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
- ...FWIW, that did not answer my question as no Wikipedia article was linked in your response. Steel1943 (talk) 15:25, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
- Keep. The target article prominently describes both strains, so WP:XY is satisfied. -- Tavix (talk) 18:40, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
Relisting comment: I've notified WP:MED.
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, BDD (talk) 18:41, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Keep per Tavix; since WP:XY is realisé, the discussion is kinda moot. Good luck everyone. ——SN54129 18:51, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
INdiana
Miscapitalization typo similar to previously-deleted ones like LEad and UNited States. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 18:38, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Note: Added a similar redirect. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 18:43, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete. No need at all for these when typing the word into the search bar in lowercase and hitting Enter gets you to the correct article. Narky Blert (talk) 19:01, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Haiwaii
Not exactly the most plausible misspellings, though a far cry from Uthium below. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 18:29, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Keep. Hawaii is not the easiest state to spell, and these are reasonable guesses. -- Tavix (talk) 20:14, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Keep all. The difficulty of spelling Hawaiian has actually been immortalised in song. Narky Blert (talk) 21:14, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Connnecticut
- Connnecticut → Connecticut (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
No word in the English language has three or more consecutive repetitions of a letter. This is not Kashyyyk. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 18:24, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Comment. You lose your bet - Caithnessshire and Rossshire. Narky Blert (talk) 18:30, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Elaska
- Elaska → Alaska (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
- Ulaska → Alaska (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Elaska? Who would search this? –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 18:20, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Comment. A block nomination of these two and many other Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2019 September 20#Misspelled U.S. state names was closed with no action per WP:TRAINWRECK. Narky Blert (talk) 18:48, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Keep. The first sound is a schwa, which can be pretty much be realized with any vowel letter in English. -- Tavix (talk) 20:34, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Uraniam
Unlikely misspelling, could also refer to Uranian or anything at the corresponding DAB. See also the RfD for Indiam. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 18:11, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete as an ambiguous misspelling and/or WP:NONSENSE. Narky Blert (talk) 18:14, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete per above – implausible misspelling that could refer to Uranian among other things. ComplexRational (talk) 18:26, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Uninunium
Misspelled systematic names. Far fewer views than the correctly spelled Unununium and Ununoctium. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 18:11, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete as implausible – nothing that I see suggests these misspellings will be particularly likely. ComplexRational (talk) 18:27, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Astaine
This doesn't sound particularly plausible, since it's missing the second T. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 18:11, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete. Hopelessly ambiguous, could also be a misspelling of many other things including e.g. Astaire and Abstain. Narky Blert (talk) 18:18, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Plantium
This doesn't sound particularly plausible, unlike Plantinum or the more-viewed Platnium. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 18:11, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete. This is closer to planetarium, Plantae or Plantin than platinum. Narky Blert (talk) 18:33, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Bromeen
With regards to the deletion of Kloreen by and three others by the same user. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 17:46, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete. Implausible phonetic misspelling, as unlikely as Kathline for Kathleen. Narky Blert (talk) 18:20, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Note. Page creator DudeWithAFeud was WP:INDEFfed in November 2015. Narky Blert (talk) 18:38, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete – phonetic misspelling, possibly a joke, per my rationale at the RfD for kloreen. ComplexRational (talk) 18:28, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Keep, I find phonetic misspellings useful. If you are looking for Bromine, but you've heard it and don't know how to spell it, this is a reasonable guess. -- Tavix (talk) 18:44, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hmm...I can dig that, but this (or more so chlorine) is not very uncommon and -ine seems like the usual spelling. Are there any rhyming words in English that end with -een? ComplexRational (talk) 19:36, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- I guess there are no rhyming words for chlorine at all; however, there are words like queen and teen (as well as adjectives like green) that end with -een. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 19:55, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hmm...I can dig that, but this (or more so chlorine) is not very uncommon and -ine seems like the usual spelling. Are there any rhyming words in English that end with -een? ComplexRational (talk) 19:36, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete. Typing "brom" into the search bar lists "bromine" as the second result in the autocomplete menu. --Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝) 19:04, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- If the searcher assumes "Bromine" sounds like a frat bro wanting his stuff back, it's not going to click that Bromine is actually the article for "Bromeen". -- Tavix (talk) 20:55, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Sulvere
This one doesn't seem particularly plausible, either. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 17:38, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Comment: This word is the Sanskrit word from which the name of this element might have originated (the other being the Latin "sulfurium," as shown by sources found with Google search). Regards, SONIC678 17:59, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete as WP:RFFL, no particular affinity to Sanskrit. Narky Blert (talk) 18:23, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete. I can see someone's finger slipping off the F and onto the V, but "ere" is very implausible. --Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝) 18:59, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Uthium
I've decided to reconcile this failed RfD by nominating the pages by element. This one is one of the strangest typos I've ever encountered. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 17:34, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete as WP:NONSENSE. Narky Blert (talk) 18:09, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Probably meant to be a wrong OCR of the target, still delete as implausible. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 19:44, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Kumagai Morikazu
This is a soft redirect to the Japanese article about this person, who appears to have been an early 20th century Japanese painter. I don't believe interlanguage redirects are appropriate in article space, however there is no speedy deletion criteria that applies. This should either be replaced by an English language article or deleted. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 15:25, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete unless someone decides to create an article. The redirect as is isn’t helpful because even if an average English Wikipedia user had an interest in this person they wouldn’t be a fluent enough reader of Japanese to get any use out of the redirect.--69.157.252.96 (talk) 17:12, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete, and I would argue that A3 does apply. It's an external link, not a redirect. —Xezbeth (talk) 17:17, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Convert into an article so users of the English Wikipedia can learn about this individual. Regards, SONIC678 17:50, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Stamatina Kanellopoulou and Iakovos Koumis
- Stamatina Kanellopoulou → Athens Polytechnic uprising#Legacy (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
- Iakovos Koumis → Athens Polytechnic uprising#Legacy (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Whilst I understand from other sources that these 2 people were the 2 killed in 1980, the article does not say so (and anyone following these redirects will not learn that) and so unless there is notability and a change to the article then WP:NOTMEMORIAL applies. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 10:22, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
(disambiguation) (disambiguation)
- North Gippsland (disambiguatoin) (disambiguation) → North Gippsland (disambiguation) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
- WMAK (disambiguation (disambiguation) → WMAK (disambiguation) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
I'm not sure why anyone would look for a page using "disambiguation" twice other than to search for Disambiguation (disambiguation), which lists uses for the term "disambiguation," leaning delete on these two redirects. Regards, SONIC678 05:28, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:RDAB. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 06:12, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Notice the misspellings on the nominated redirects. --Soumyabrata (talk • subpages) 08:50, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete obvious typos. Surprised these weren't speedied. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 12:16, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
Aulus Plautius (dismabiguation)
- Aulus Plautius (dismabiguation) → Aulus Plautius (disambiguation) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
This redirect was left over from a page move to the correct spelling of "disambiguation," and the link to there in Aulus Plautius was changed to reflect this move. As per the outcome of an earlier discussion concerning four redirects with this misspelling of "disambiguation", this should also be deleted. Regards, SONIC678 05:17, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

Green Hill Country
- Green Hill Country → Shire (Middle-earth)#Southfarthing (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Minor fictional region no longer mentioned in its target article. No merges have occurred, so no WP:ATT issues. A Google search indicates real-world usages of this term, but they mostly appear to be non-notable country clubs. Hog Farm (talk) 02:39, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Keep Well, we're down to very minor details, but Tolkien's whole approach was to work from names up to stories, so details are significant, and redirects are cheap. Tolkien lived at Sarehole and walked along Green Hill Road to visit his grandparents, the likely origin of the name. I've added a footnote with citation. - The Golden Perch → Shire (Middle-earth)#Eastfarthing (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Middle-earth inn no longer mentioned in articles, and no attribution issues with deletion, as it has always been a redirect. Deletion would be preferable so we don't give readers the impression content exists on this subject. Hog Farm (talk) 02:37, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Keep, again these are details but colourful and useful ones, as Tolkien intentionally made the Shire homely and English. For instance he drank in The Ivy Bush on Hagley Road, Birmingham. I've added a small section to this effect, with refs, in Shire (Middle-earth)#Homely names (so we need to retarget the section names of the redirects). Chiswick Chap (talk) 10:14, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

- Winterfilth → Shire (Middle-earth)#Calendar (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Obscure fictional calendar item, no longer mentioned in the target article and it's removal not challenged. Also, there's doesn't appear to be a page about filth in the winter to target to. Hog Farm (talk) 02:35, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

- Afterlithe → Shire (Middle-earth)#Calendar (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Obscure fictional month where the content has been removed from the target page and said removal was not challenged. No longer necessary, as the lack of coverage of this subject will only be confusing to readers. Hog Farm (talk) 02:33, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

Bill Blythe IV
- Bill Blythe IV → Bill Clinton (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]

Ben Nyaumbe
- Ben Nyaumbe → African rock python#Danger to humans (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Not sure what the appropriate venue for this is. It went through an AfD in 2009: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ben Nyaumbe, which was closed as "merge to snake". I can't believe that the original content would survive an AfD in 2020, and am somewhat shocked that it was kicked down to a redirect rather than deleted outright as recently as 2009 (seems more like 2007 or earlier Wikipedia behavior). No mention of this term at any target, nothing encyclopedic to retain. Plantdrew (talk) 02:07, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Chiswick Chap (talk) 12:47, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- Retarget to Man bites dog#Man bites snake (!) - IMO a better target than one proposed in the AFD. I've added the information and a citation. The story was picked up by, among others, Reuters, the BBC and several national newspapers around the world, and was "improved" along the way. Definitely WP:BLP1E, but IMO worth noting somewhere.
