Sock Puppet Vandal

Hello I am currently having a problem with a Vandal I believe to be RevolverOcelotX. He deleted my attempts at a check user on a Apocalyptic Destroyer. If you check my page you will see that another user has been active there and my IP adress page has even been vandalised. I rarely edit, but wanted the it to be known about this puppeteer.ShuckyDucky 03:21, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is no evidence of policy violation here, so there no rationale for a checkuser. This is a retaliatory request by ShuckyDucky for his content dispute in the Bruce Lee article. ShuckyDucky made improper report here which should be deleted. Guardian Tiger

I'm sorry this is being brought up on your page...but I have no prior dealings with Guardian Tiger before tonight. It is rather curious that he is following me around to every page I have edited. Why was the my report deleted? The admins can dismiss the report if it is wrong? Thank You.ShuckyDucky 04:17, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop spamming talk pages with the same message and adhere to Wikipedia's policies. What you did is considered vandalism in Wikipedia. I suggest that you gain consensus on the talk page before making drastic changes to other editor's works. Guardian Tiger

Samuel Blumenfeld

Hi, Happy New Year! I just saw your article on Mr. Blumenfeld and would like you to expand on it. For example, I did have a Chemistry teacher by that name 25 or so years ago in a NYC suburb - could this be him or someone else? What subject did he teach? where did he teach? Anything along those lines would be appreciated. And in the future, please categorize!  :) Cathy —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.162.30.96 (talk) 13:56, 1 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

The Japanese Justice System and its 99.97% Conviction rate

Thank you for your interesting contribution about Japan's justice system. IMHO, however, this does not belong in a separate article. I've begun a discussion on the article's talk page, and I look forward to your input. Thank you. LordAmeth 11:39, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not attacking the user clown, I just think we don't need that page anymore. The user hasn't edited for a while now, and the comment "All I know that he is a bad motherfucker" is patent nonsense.--Rasillon 15:01, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User:Deathrocker

Electric Eye, I do not know anything about sockpuppets nor do I know user Deathrocker other than the accusing note to me in response to my musing over the user's claim of being a musical guru, which I found interesting. Upon investigation I can see that this user has tangled with others all over wikipedia. Musical Guru 16:58, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thanks for the offer for assistance. Is all the work I did this morning lost altogether? I'm very new to this, so I'm not sure where to watch for a reply to this except on my own talk page. User:Vuutons

There were also deleted nonsense articles which don't show up in the user's contribs. This user knew exactly what they were doing and they were surprised to have been stopped so soon, thinking they had more timewasting rope available to them than they actually had. I'd be 103% sure they will reappear as a different, and equally vandalism-inclined, user in the near future. Hope this helps. REDVEЯS 19:23, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath

Hi, I would like to help clean up this page, but need some advice. Most of the information written about YGS is from his autobiography entitled "Wings to Freedom". Since this is autobiographical, I'm not sure if any of it is encyclopedic. Other information about him is on his website, which again is perhaps unencyclopedic. The only 3rd party sources I've found are several magazine articles. There are also audio interviews with him on radio stations. What of these sources can be used to build a credible article? Thanks. Thank you for your support at Template talk:Warn. Are you aware that there is a project for renewing user warnings? I have just been invited to it today, and they set themselves a deadline of Jan 21, which is really short for the gigantic task at hand. In my view, there isn't even agreement about the basic definitions yet. — Sebastian 01:37, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User:Haluskein

Given that the material at User:Haluskein is a textbook {{db-band}} speedy deletion, why did you:

a) move it into user space?
b) cut and paste it, thereby breaking GFDL?

Help appreciated with article on Black Patch Park in Wikipedia

Dear Electric Eye. I have been having a bit of a struggle lately with one article which has been a the receiving end of what I am experiencing as rather unhelpful and repetitive comments which seem to me to depart from the iterative dialogue by which Wikipedia contributors refine any particular Wikipedia entry. e.g. Instead of correcting a specific error or modifying a particular conclusion the article is constantly labelled as not meeting certain Wikipedia standards. I stand ready to be corrected (I hope) but I would appreciate your help and opinion on the 'History' of the entry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Patch_Park Every time I reopen this article there is a message possibly automatically generated saying, for instance: This article or section reads like a personal reflection or essay and may require cleanup. Please help improve this article by rewriting this article or section in an encyclopedic style. (help, talk). This article includes a list of works cited but its sources remain unclear because it lacks in-text citations. You can help Wikipedia by introducing more precise citations. How can I deal with what seems to me like a constant reproach. Sometimes it is difficult to locate precise citations. I did remove one that I agree was imprecise because it referred to Birmingham Central Library where I had been given assistance in starting my research on the Black Patch article. Could the person who is generating what feels to me like a rather intrusive and judgmental message not try to help by finding references themselves or should I just remove the whole article? That's ridiculous I realise, especially as I am no longer it's only author but I am in a quandary as to what to do to get this article made acceptable to Wikipedia - especially as I have never minded asking for editorial and formating assistance in the case of the many other articles I have contributed either by starting them from scratch or by adding to a stub. I think that what is happening in the case of Black Patch Park is that a self-appointed collective of regional editors have decided to apply their own 'worthy' criteria to 'raising the standard' as they see it of all articles on Wikipedia that deal with the West Midlands under the heading West Midlands WikiProject http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:WestMids I am finding myself in a dilemma. I am also for the way truth can be arrived at through debate and collective editing but I am feeling that in this instance there is an imbalance between creative contributions to understanding and the editing of that contribution. Can you please look at the Black Patch park article and have a go at giving it a make-over so that it passes muster? Sincerely Simon Baddeley 09:59, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
