Numbers of axons in a nerve cross-section: I came here looking for these figures but they're not here -- I've added a sentence with blanks for someone more knowledgeable to fill in. These numbers are very important for people thinking about (1) computer models and (2) nerve reconnections.

I would like to know if the creator of the article had any recources, for that would prove the Propagate via sound was true.

I believe this interesting section needs expansion (recorded occurences, etc,) by someone more qualified than myself in the medical field. Bennyboyz3000 05:26, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[1] This article seems to suggest that it is sound waves, not electrical impulses which are propagating. Can anyone confirm? If so, the discussion around Anatomy/Action potential seems to now be incorrect. Cariaso 22:42, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
