The Ways of White Folks is a collection of short stories written by Langston Hughes published in 1934.[1]

It is among his most well known works.[2] It includes the short story "Cora Unashamed", which was the basis for a film from The American Collection directed by Deborah M. Pratt, starring Regina Taylor and Cherry Jones, and released in 2000.[3]
