Lavan is an Iranian island in the Persian Gulf.

The word Lavan derives from Iranian mythology and represents the scripts of the Iranian sands, which state that on one occasion in two thousand years, a warrior will be born amongst countrymen. In modern language, this would translate to mean that someone with great monetary wealth will be born in the land currently known as Iran.
