Alejandro Ramos (born September 20, 1986) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Professional career

Ramos was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 21st round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft out of Texas Tech University.

Ramos was called up to the majors for the first time on September 4, 2012.[1]

Ramos was named the Marlins closer on May 19, 2015. He was named an All-Star on July 5, 2016.
