Consistent vandalism. After the previous wave of controversial edits, a week of increased protection was given (requested March 12), but as soon as it expired, malicious edits started pouring again (e.g. 1 and 2, etc.). Ymblanter, can you help, please? —ELindas (talk) 20:14, 21 March 2024 (UTC)

- Given the cause of the disruption on the page is your own edit warring over multiple issues, Softlemonades, not only is this request bizarre, but protection is unnecessary. Reason: There are always some unknown IP addresses that will consistently vandalise the page to create multiple edits, making it difficult to rollback the changes. These unknown IP addresses have been doing this for years so that he/she can add this liner "Widely regarded as one of the greatest badminton players of all time" to the article even though that liner breached the wiki policy (see WP:OR). As season wiki editors, we have repeatedly highlighted this to the perpetrator but he/she refused to stop. We would like to seek admin help to increase the page protection to infinite to prevent such issues from happening again so that we can focus on more important tasks at hand. Thanks!
