Jazwyn Cowan

Jawqyn Michael Cowan (born November 11 1983 in Baltimore, Maryland, United States) is an American professional basketball player, currently playing for the Chester Jets of the British Basketball League.

An athletic post player he can also open things up on the perimeter while possessing an excellent mid-range game and the ability to knock down the three, Cowan finishes well in the open court.

The 6ft9 Forward attended Hampton University where he studied a major in psychology before signing for the Nebraska Cranes in 2005 and then for Chester in 2006. Cowan made his debute for the Jets on October 6, 2006 against Scottish Rocks, scoring 17 points and shooting 50% from the floor in the 89-86 victory. Cowan was named as the BBL player of the Month for December 2006.
