Request protection of a page, or increasing the protection level

Temporary extended confirmed protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Edit warring of IP users. Sciencefish (talk) 07:23, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Sciencefish: Do you mean WP:ECP (30/500 protection)? Semi-protection is all that is needed for IP users. However, a quick look does not show which edits are vandalism or which are edit warring. Please identify some problem edits with a brief explanation, preferably on article talk where the editors concerned have a chance of seeing it. Johnuniq (talk) 09:50, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
WP:ECP (30/500 protection), yes, but will take to talk as advised. Thanks. Sciencefish (talk) 10:25, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: High level of IP vandalism, arbitrary edits with poorly sourced and un-sourced drivelling Rustyshackelford (talk) 10:20, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Declined I'm not seeing many IP edits - three in the last 2 months - but I will keep an eye on it to see if there are ongoing concerns. - Bilby (talk) 10:30, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary semi-protection: BLP policy violations – Repeated additional of unsourced and promotional BLP information. Tacyarg (talk) 14:00, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected for a period of 1 week, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Aoidh (talk) 15:32, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Aoidh (talk) 15:33, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protection: Persistent addition of unsourced or poorly sourced content – Multiple recent instances of IP users adding unsourced content with no explanation. HapHaxion (talk / contribs) 14:38, 8 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
