Juan C. Zapata is a Miami, Florida Republican politician who serves as the representative for District 119

 of the House of Representatives of the State of Florida. He was first elected to the Florida House in .

He is the chair of the Human Services Appropriations Committee. Representative Zapata was born in Medellin, Colombia according to his Florida House profile or in Lima, Peru according to Project Votesmart on December 9, 1966 and first moved to Florida in 1977.

He earned his Associate of Arts degree at Miami-Dade Community College in 1990 and his Bachelor of Science degree finance and international business in 1994. He owns a business, Greenback Investments.
