The Wikipedia philosophy can be summed up thusly: "Experts are scum." For some reason people who spend 40 years learning everything they can about, say, the Peloponnesian War -- and indeed, advancing the body of human knowledge -- get all pissy when their contributions are edited away by Randy in Boise who heard somewhere that sword-wielding skeletons were involved. And they get downright irate when asked politely to engage in discourse with Randy until the sword-skeleton theory can be incorporated into the article without passing judgment.

Please note there is now a designated area for complaining about me here (I do check it from time to time). This talk page is now only for important and interesting matters. Giano (talk) 11:36, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

For this Giano, yes Xeno did not handle that particularly well. But I don't see any reason for you to act similarly. Additionally, the long history of this sort of thing led me to make it a 3 week block. Please, if you don't want to deal with other editor's eccentricities don't engage them when you don't have to. Feel free to email me, of course. Prodego talk 20:18, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh and for the record, anyone who has any comments, complaints, suggestions, feel free to contact me. And if anyone wants to change the block, please, let me know on my talk page or via email, and wait for a response before doing so. Prodego talk 20:37, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • 100+ Wikipedians have voted for an Admin who does not know how to write page. An admin who does not know it is wrong to copy-paste from the internet straight onto Wikipdia. You insult all who have ever spent longer that 15 minutes writing a page - now that Admin's supporters decide to attack the pages I have written. Well good luck to you all, perhaps you may even learn something. My dealings with Wikipedia over the last week have sickened me. Giano (talk) 21:37, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
