Film project banner

Thank you for reviewing the articles to see if they still require images or not. One quick request - if the "needs-image" parameter is no, then delete the entire parameter from the banner. Leaving it in recategorizes it to an error-catching category, and ultimately creates more cleanup work for the next editor who will have to delete it instead. Many thanks! My sandbox

{{helpme}} I have created a lot of pages in my sandbox (User:Tim1357/sandbox) so i could get them right before posting them in the mainspace. How do i find all of the pages in this category (Emample User:Tim1357/sandbox/The_Inherited) so i can delete them?--Tim1357 (talk) 03:14, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Click here. Cheers.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 03:15, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
So, you do it using Special:Prefixindex.
You can automate it, and put it in a nice format, with code like this;
<div class="infobox">Subpages for this user:{{Special:Prefixindex/User:Tim1357/}}</div>

This produces;

You might want to add that to your talk page.

For more help, you can either;

  • Leave a message on my own talk page; OR
  • Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end; OR
  • Talk to us live, with this or this.

Fair use rationale for File:Weapons movie poster.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Weapons movie poster.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Killiondude (talk) 06:26, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Academy Awards

Hello, and welcome to WikiProject Films! I saw your comments at the talk page of the film awards task force, and you probably have seen my own about trying to make the Academy Award pages consistent. I will probably try to design a table in the next week or so to implement across all these pages. Would you be interested in helping me do this? I plan to create a template table which can be copied, and we can use the Oscars database to fill in empty cells. Let me know your thoughts! Erik (talkcontrib) 11:21, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sure! Im somewhat of a newbie, so I'm not sure how much help i can be, but i will certainly try.--Tim1357 (talk) 16:57, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No problem! We all start somewhere, don't we? I responded at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Films/Film awards task force. —Erik (talkcontrib) 02:23, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pillar bot framework

Hi Tim. You left me a message a couple of weeks ago about wanting help with my bot code. Sorry for the belated reply -- I've been busy with some real life stuff. If you can clarify what you'd like help with, I'd be delighted to do so. Best wishes, [[User:Sam Korn|Sam Korn]] (smoddy) 16:01, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
