Kan Jongwoo (Korean: 간종우; born April, 1982) is a South Korean singer, and songwriter. He is a twin brother of Korean singer Kan Jong-wook (Korean: 간종욱) who is known as “the Prince of Korean Drama OST”. They have formed a K-pop vocal duo called “J2” (Korean: 제이투) in 2010. [1] [2] [3] Their first single 행방불명(missing) was used as the title track for movie Man of Vendetta, and it also went viral in Korea.[4] [5] Jongwoo has written over 60 lyrics including major Korean national TV shows’ OSTs like Apgujeong Midnight Sun, Royal Family (TV series), Princess Aurora (TV series),Pink Lipstick, Bravo, My Love!, Gloria (2010 TV series) and many more. He is also the first male singer to sing a duet with Korean pop star soyou for the soundtrack of Gloria (2010 TV series).[6] [7] [8] [9] [10]
Personal life
Jongwoo graduated Pratt Institute [11], both undergraduate and graduate school, has BFA in Interior Design [12]and Masters in communication design. He currently lives in New York City working as a designer, and He is married to a fellow designer, Sanghee Kim. [13]
