I'm not clear exactly what classification of mammals is being used. A short note on this would be helpful. --Brownlee 15:19, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Humans

Shouldn't the link to humans go to the European subvariety? 66.243.213.232 (talk) 01:55, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Extinct animals

If extinct animals like Aurochs do not belong in this list, then what about animals that are genetically re-created like Heck cattle? 66.243.213.232 (talk) 02:01, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is a list of species, not breeds, so it would not be appropriate to include Heck cattle. Warofdreams talk 11:04, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Limits

The heading should specify what does the article understand for "Europe". Does it include Macaronesia, Turkey, Cyprus, the Caucasus republics? What of Russia? Is the whole country included, only west of the Urals, the Volga or none of it?--80.26.120.40 (talk) 11:47, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
