Jasons Travel Media (NZX: JTM) is a company that provides a booking service for accommodation especially motels and hotels in New Zealand, as well as Australia and the South Pacific. Its other major business is the printing and distribution of travel guides which is one of the largest in the industry and country.[1]

History

It was founded in 1967 by John Sanford and was incorporated as Jason Publishing Co Ltd and was renamed to Jasons Travel Media in 2000. It’s former CEO was Steven Joyce who is the current Minister of Transport and Minister for Communications and Information Technology in New Zealand .[2] In 2005, it was successfully listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange.[3]
