Myologia[1] in anatomia est studia structurarum, officiorum, et morborum musculi, animalis apparatus muscularis, qui constat ex musculis sceleti, qui se contrahunt ad movendas vel ponendas corporis partes (exempli gratia, ossa quae in commissuris articulantur), vel ex musculis levibus et cardiacis, qui fluxum liquidorum rerumque contentarum propellunt, expellunt, temperant.

Exemplum societatis professionalis quae myologiam promovet est The British Myology Society.
