In a chilling incident over a property dispute, a woman and her daughter were bricked alive into a wall in Hyderabad, Pakistan.

The incident happened in the Latifabad No. 5 area of Hyderabad where the woman's brother-in-law, Suhail, and his sons had locked the mother-daughter duo inside a room and built a wall to seal them inside, after a property dispute.

According to Pakistan's ARY News, neighbors heard the mother and daughter’s cries and promptly informed the police, who arrived just in time to rescue them.

A case has been filed, and authorities are actively pursuing Suhail and his sons, who fled the scene upon the rescue operation.

She later informed the police that Suhail had unlawfully withheld her land documents.

Property disputes in Pakistan often escalate into violence, as seen in the recent tragedy in Chamkani, Peshawar, where five fatalities resulted from a longstanding feud between two groups.

Police investigations into both incidents are ongoing, with assurances from SP Farooq Linjar of stringent legal action against those responsible for the Hyderabad incident.
