A big part of a good holiday experience is the hotel you stay in. This is one of the best hotels we have experienced whilst travelling through Yunnan. From the customer relations girls at reception to the cleaning ladies, Mengjin group staff excels in providing warm, friendly service to all their guests. Location is perfect for first time visitors to Kunming, you get to experience the old and the new just a short walk away. The hotel has exceptional standards with quality furnishings and bedding. Rooms are well appointed, the bed is comfortable and the soundproofing is fantastic. Breakfast is a limited choice of noodles but it is sumptuous and fulfilling. I especially like the coffee machine where you can get unlimited quality coffee anytime you want. We stayed at Moon Shine when we arrived and at this hotel Moon Shy before departing. Will definitely look out for this group's other outlets and will definitely stay here again! Thank you to the service staff for being so helpful, kind and caring. Special mention to housekeeping auntie who washed my socks ❤️. No 6 star hotel will ever give you that warmth.

The check in was nice and smooth, and the staff, especially 小石 was really helpful. We even got a free upgrade to our room with an amazing view outside. Our stay was nice and perfect, everything was beyond our expectations. We definitely will book into the same hotel again if we are in town in the future. Thanks for a job well done!

This hotel is in a nice location near the foodie streets and a number of tourist attractions - it's a great place for exploring the centre. The rooms are clean and traditional style and the breakfasts are fantastic. The breakfast is served until lunchtime, that's a nice touch. The best thing though is the staff, they will do all they can to accommodate your needs. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Location is strategic, near to subway station, food centre just beside and shopping mall opposite. Laundry is at common area, the staff will help to put our washed clothes into dryer and put it into our laundry basket once done. Will definitely stay in Atour hotel if visiting China again.

Great place! Received a lot of help from counter staff fixing up WeChat travel on metro and buses. Koi Su and her male colleague whom we forgot to take down the name have been very helpful. Also the counter lady who checked us in is very pleasant and gave us a lot of additional upgrade options for breakfasts. We love the executive club tea in the evening and enjoy our night swims and gyms. The hospitality of the staff were outstanding including the lady who manned the pool at night and help provide us with googles when our googles broke. The location is also perfect for travelling with transportation to the airport easily arranged with the staff. The room is large and comfortable. Overall an extremely pleasant stay.

Clean. Convenient location. Opposite (walking distance) located the old town. Lot of eateries nearby. Metro line is just outside the hotel. Little inconvenience for us to unload luggage from taxi as can’t drop off directly at the main entrance. But no big issue for us.

The location is great and convenient walking to nearby night market. Hotel condition is comfortable and clean. My friends and I are very satisfied and happy with the stay.

The hotel is in the heart of the old town. The hotel environement is very nice, very clean and comfortable. Hot water and heater are available. The owner was very helpful. Despite our language barrier we managed to communite easily with wechat. She helped us with booking for a day tour to Shilin stone forest and Jiuxang karst cave although we asked very late at night the day before the tour. She also provide us with direction to get Halal Food.
