With the addition of structured data and MCR to Commons, there's a new methodology for handling revisions. Edits to past revisions are no longer possible. Instead, you have to "restore" the past revision.

The tab interface on Commons needs to be updated to reflect this. Most of the work has already been done, but a few tweaks remain. See the images below:
