Varg Veum and Hamre discover cats hung around the city. Hamre tells Varg that there has been more reports from old ladies who lost their cats. The dead cats eerily mimic victims of the Norwegian tradition "hitting the cat out of the barrel", where a barrel is hit until the bottom falls out. However, in this unsettling twist it seems as if the cats have been removed from their barrels and then hung up around town. Varg Veum becomes a father. It lasts 87 minutes. See less
