Haukipudas is a former municipality in Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. As of 31 December 2012, 19,053 people lived there. On 1 January 2013, the former municipalities of Haukipudas, Kiiminki, Oulunsalo and Yli-Ii merged to form the city of Oulu.

It was founded in 1866.

There were 16 villages in Haukipudas: Kirkonkylä, Santaholma, Ukonkaivos, Martinniemi, Asemakylä, Onkamo, Halosenniemi, Holstinmäki, Häyrysenniemi, Jokikylä, Kalimeenkylä, Kello, Kiviniemi, Parkumäki, Takkuranta and Virpiniemi.
