'Kalki 2898 AD' earned Rs 95.3 crore on its opening day on June 27.
It saw a dip in collections on Friday, earning Rs 59.3 crore, before business picked up on Saturday with Rs 66.2 crore. On Sunday, it further increased, earning Rs 88.2 crore. Business dipped during the week, with Monday bringing in Rs 34.15 crore, Rs 27.05 crore on Tuesday, and Rs 22.7 crore on Wednesday. On Thursday, 'Kalki 2898 AD' made Rs 21.8 crore, taking the total to Rs 414.25 crore.

Nag Ashwin, in a conversation with Variety, discussed the upcoming sequel of the film. He revealed that although they shot for about 25 to 30 days, significant action sequences are still pending. The sequel will address every unresolved thread, with a crucial focus on the face-off between Yaskin, who now wields the powerful Gandiva, and the formidable warriors Karna and Ashwatthama.
