Junaid Khan, son of Bollywood star Aamir Khan, who made his acting debut in director Siddharth P Malhotra's 'Maharaj,' has revealed his absence from social media.
In an interview with News18, Junaid opened up, "People didn’t know what I looked like, largely because I never took to social media, even when it became a thing." The actor further explained that there was no conscious decision in staying away from social media.
"It’s just how it happened".
Junaid's portrayal in 'Maharaj' earned him a lot of praise. In the film, he starred alongside Shalini Pandey and Jaideep Ahlawat, delivering a performance that showcased his acting prowess and potential.
'Maharaj' faced a legal hurdle before its release when the Gujarat High Court temporarily stayed its screening. However, the stay was subsequently lifted, allowing the film to reach audiences globally. Yash Raj Films expressed gratitude to the judiciary for enabling the release, emphasising the film's celebration of India's cultural and historical legacy.
On the work front, Junaid Khan is making headlines for his upcoming love story, where he stars alongside Sai Pallavi. Recently, both actors wrapped up shooting in Japan for the film, which is being produced by Aamir Khan.
