Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of power stations in India may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • | [[Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Station]] || [[HPGCL] || [[Yamuna Nagar]] || [[Yamuna Nagar]] || [[Haryana]] || State || Northern || 2 x 300 ||

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 02:38, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Federation of Noida Residents' Welfare Association requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page BSEB (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:05, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Dear Akash Singh India,

This is regarding you edit of the wiki page of Indian Forest Service. Your argument that the abbreviation for Indian Forest Service is not IFS is misinformed and invalid. UPSC has used that abbreviation only to avoid confusion. All official documents of the Union and State governments address the service as IFS. This issue has come up multiple times before and the admins have put the case to rest considering all evidences.

The copy of All India Service Rules as uploaded on the website of Dept. of Personnel and Training is affixed for your perusal. This document is the bible of all All India Services and hence the final authority to put the matter to rest. (and not an outside independent agency such as UPSC)

http://persmin.nic.in/DOPT/Acts_Rules/AIS_Rules/Revised_AIS_Rules_Vol_I_Updated_Upto_31Oct2011/Revised_AIS_Rule_Vol_I_Rule_12.pdf

It would be wise to recall that the service as established far back in the nineteenth century was called Imperial Forest Service, i.e, it was IFS then and it is IFS now.

It seem a bit harsh to assume that two Group-A services cannot share the same abbreviation. We have sufficient documentary evidence to establish this matter and also that 'Only' UPSC and PIB use the other abbreviation to avoid ambiguity.

Kindly avoid edits based on one off incidents and popular perception or personal whims. Bring sufficient evidence to support your edits.

Thank you, have a good day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shippie1 (talkcontribs) 03:00, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
