DC Power Football Club is an American women's soccer club based in Washington, D.C. It is a member of the USL Super League, a new Division I league operated by the United Soccer League, that debuted in August 2024.
History
[edit]Washington, D.C., was named as one of the eight locations in the USL Super League on May 16, 2023.[1] The club's name and branding were unveiled on May 20, 2024.[2] Its founding ownership group includes Jordan Stuart, a minority owner of Loudoun United FC; Devin Talbott, a part owner of D.C. United; and local business owner Jan Adams.[2] Professional basketball player Angel Reese was announced as a part owner on May 21, 2024.[3] Additional owners announced on May 23, 2024 include professional baseball player Josiah Gray, professional hockey player Hendrix Lapierre, and actress Crystal Renee Hayslett.
Stadium
[edit]The club announced that they would play their inaugural season at Audi Field, which is also home to the Washington Spirit and D.C. United.[4]
