I have been looking for the very first edition of this excellent book for a long time as I have read / have several of the others. This does not disappoint, although it is fair to see, and the author has admitted in subsequent editions of errors, but then again with a work of this depth it is hardly surprising. It is interesting to note how this edition contains more popular acts such as Cliff Richard, Commodores, Lionel Richie, Hot Chocolate than later editions as well. I am proud to have the original edition on my shelf!
