Night Train is a movie by Shane Stanley in which we can see Diora Baird in a very American thriller. The co-star is Abraham Benrubi.
The plot is about a Hollywood truck driver who avoids being pursued by the FBI. Our dear Diora Baird will piece everything together in this action thriller written by Shane Stanley.
Souped up cars, races and lots of road humor in this production with a very American flavor.
Our Opinion Night Train (2023)
This isn´t going to be the blockbuster of the year. It is a very simple thriller done with just enough resources and which is happy to be a secondary market product.
You can get an idea with this information and a little imagination (without much malice or sarcasm).

"I'm still trying to get the whole 'kid' thing down." Gravitas Ventures has released an official trailer for an indie comedy titled Magic Max, an awkard low-budget indie romantic comedy starring Parker Bates and Ivan Sergei. After he loses both of his parents, 11-year-old Tim Hart is forced to go live with his immensely immature Uncle Max, a second rate magician. As the two learn to cope and start a new family together, they both figure out how they can help each other grow up. This looks like a second-rate film made with a bunch of friends, but it might still be amusing and enjoyable. The cast also includes Jud Tylor, Lotuss Blossom, and Barry Corbin. Sadly this looks like it's worth ignoring, not much to see, just two bland performances. Here's the two official trailers (+ poster) for James D. Fields' Magic Max, direct from YouTube: After a tragic...

Once BH90210 viewers realized that Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering, Jennie Garth et al were playing not their characters, but (versions of) themselves, there was another twist on tap: the actors’ on-screen families were fictitious.
For example, Spelling in real life is wed to Dean McDermott, with whom she has done reality-tv shows and with whom she does have many (five) kids. On BH90210, however, Tori’s husband is named “Nate” (played by Mother May I Sleep With Danger‘s Ivan Sergei), and they have a full half-dozen rugrats.

Why can’t all high school reunions look this good? As part of Fox’s new limited series BH90210 (premiering Wednesday at 8/7c), the show’s cast has recreated Beverly Hills, 90210‘s iconic opening credits — appearing in alphabetical order, naturally.
Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea), Shannen Doherty (Brenda), Jennie Garth (Kelly), Brian Austin Green (David), Jason Priestley (Brandon), Tori Spelling (Donna) and Ian Ziering (Steve) still look eerily like you remember them, striking their best yearbook-ready poses over the show’s classic guitar licks and saxophone wails.

BH90210 is a reunion of Beverly Hills 90210 in which most of the original stars of Beverly Hills 90210 play themselves as they try to mount… a reunion of Beverly Hills 90210. It would probably not make a list of the five weirdest TV revivals of all time, in part because most of those slots would go to Brady Bunch spin-offs (*). Nor is it even the first meta reunion of this type: One of the best Curb Your Enthusiasm seasons was similarly framed as Larry getting the Seinfeld cast back together for a sequel special.

Natalie Sharp (Hit the Road) is set for a recurring role on Fox’s summer drama series BH90210. The series is described as a serialized drama with a dose of irreverence inspired by the real lives and relationships of Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling. Having gone their separate ways since the original series ended 19 years ago, the septet — who will play heightened versions of themselves — reunite when one of them suggests it’s time to get a Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot up and running. Sharp will play Anna, a successful writer for a new TV show. She is the latest non-90210 actor to join the series, joining Ivan Sergei, La La Anthony and Vanessa Lachey, who also recur. A bloody good trailer for Lifetime's Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? reboot has dropped, and Tori Spelling speaks for all of us: "I think this is just too much for me to handle right now." Spelling, 43, has taken on a maternal role in the remake 20 years after the original first aired on NBC. Where her hopelessly-in-love teen character Laurel fell for murderous bad boy Billy (Ivan Sergei, who will also appear in the reboot), this James Franco-helmed extension sees Spelling's character Julie's daughter Leah (Leila George) bringing home a girl named Pearl (Emily Meade) who has a dark secret - she's a vampire.

James Franco's upcoming remake of the iconic Lifetime telemovie "Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?" is set to get even weirder. The original 1996 film starred Tori Spelling as a young woman with a dangerous and obsessive boyfriend (Ivan Sergei) and was essentially a "Fatal Attraction"-style thriller deal.
Franco's take on the other hand is being described as a "vampire-infused lesbian romance thriller". In this take Leila George plays theater major Leah who introduces her girlfriend Pearl (Emily Meade) to her family. Leah's mother Julie (Tori Spelling) can't shake the feeling something is very wrong and soon makes a startling discovery about Pearl.
Nick Eversman also stars while Ivan Sergei will also return for a cameo. Franco penned the story, produces and will appear in the telemovie which is being directed by Melanie Aitkenhead. The new 'Mother' is set to premiere June 18th.

James Franco is an interesting individual who loves to try all kinds of things in his career, which is awesome! He’s always doing something new and interesting. It looks like one of his upcoming projects could be a remake of the classic 1996 TV movie-of-the-week, Mother, May I Sleep With Danger? for the Lifetime channel.

Everything has been spiraling out of control for all of the characters in ABC Family’s Twisted, and I’m not sure if things are going to get better any time soon. The mysterious crash that the police found in Vikram’s (T.J. Ramini) death has been in question ever since it was discovered by Kyle (Sam Robards). Twisted recap: “The Son Also Falls” This first season of ABC Family’s Twisted has been one heck of a ride already, and it’s not nearly over. The final scene of last week’s episode ended with Danny’s (Avan Jogia) dramatic confession to his mom, Karen (Denise Richards). He was absolutely sure that she was the one that moved Vikram’s (T.J. However, right away at the beginning of this episode (which was directed by Teri Hatcher), Karen denies the idea of moving Vikram’s body but she thinks that it was Jack (Ivan Sergei) to … Continue reading →

If you’ve never heard of the play that inspired the film, no one could blame you for having a little bit of apprehension heading into a film called Jewtopia. The film’s name alone makes you wonder if it’s going to be an incredibly offensive onslaught of anti-semitic one-liners or a comedy created by and knowingly winking at anyone who’s ever lived or observed Jewish life in America. It’s a comedy staple that’s become increasingly common over the years, with the guilt-tripping mothers, a mandatory career path of lawyer, doctor, or media mogul, and many other overly familiar stereotypes. Jewtopia plays them all up, but in a way that’s simultaneously repetitive and fresh. It doesn’t hurt that it’s one of the best performances for Joel David Moore or Ivan Sergei, or that they’re backed by Tom Arnold, Jon Lovitz, Jennifer Love Hewitt,...

When "Twisted" took its midseason break, the ABC Family mystery left several plots dangling in the air. Not only was the central question of who murdered Regina still no closer to any resolution, but fans were still wondering just why Danny (Avan Jogia) killed his aunt all those years ago and how his (not) dead dad Vikram was involved in the Regina mess. And then Danny ran, leaving his destination a question mark as well.
When the show returned for its midseason premiere on Tuesday (Feb. 11), it came prepared with answers. First off, Danny didn't even run. He was hiding in the vents of his house, where he overheard Kyle (Sam Robards) tell Karen (Denise Richards) that all signs pointed to Vikram being alive.
After getting out of the house and getting Jo (Maddie Hasson) and Lacey (Kylie Bunbury) in the same room the next day, Danny dropped the bomb: He didn't kill Tara.

It turns out the shop was a stunt by Comedy Central show Nathan for You, which parodies business improvement reality shows. I laughed when I saw it on the news, I can’t wait to see the episode.
Tom Cavanagh has joined the cast of the CW’s Flash pilot. He’ll play a physicist at S.T.A.R. labs named Harrison Wells. As far as I can find, there isn’t a DC Comics character with that name to hint as his future.
Just a mention of Tom Cavanagh has me looking for that Breakfast with Scot DVD.

Malcolm McDowell (Franklin & Bash) is set to co-star opposite Gael García Bernal in Amazon’s comedy pilot Mozart In The Jungle, directed by Paul Weitz. Based on the memoir by Blair Tindal, the project, written by Roman Coppola, Jason Schwartzman and Alex Timbers, is all about sex, drugs and classical music and shows that what happens behind the curtains at the symphony can be just as captivating as what happens onstage. McDowell plays Thomas, a seasoned conductor being forced into retirement by the arrival of hotshot new conductor Rodrigo (Bernal). Also cast in the pilot are Lola Kirke (Reaching For The Moon) as the impressionable oboist Hailey, Bernadette Peters (Smash) as Gloria, the Chairwoman of the Board of the symphony, Saffron Burrows (Law And Order: Ci) as Cynthia, a cellist in the middle of an affair with Thomas, Peter Vack (Cbgb) as Joshua, a talented dancer out of Juilliard who becomes Hailey’s love interest,...

In the upcoming season of Bates Motel, we’ll get our first look at the infamous basement from Psycho, as TV Guide reports. Norman will use it to practice his taxidermy in there.
Bates Motel
Among the revelations in book about Rupert Murdoch is that Fox News paid people to post comments favorable to Fox News in articles about the right wing channel. I guess that explains the times I’ve seen comments complaining that we haven’t acknowledged that Greta Van Susteren is like super-duper liberal.
Syfy has ordered a sixth season of Face Off, along with two specials. One special will be a countdown of the judges’ favorite works while the other will basically bridge Face Off with Syfy’s upcoming body painting show, Naked Vegas.
CBS is developing Nicky a comedy that would star Nick Zano and take inspiration from Zano growing up in a home with seven female family members.

One gets flummoxed when forced to discuss something like “Jewtopia,” the existence of which we’d all like to disavow. Based on the sort of off-Broadway play best suited to people who hate theater, this embarrassing cocktail of racial obliviousness nonetheless has amassed a considerable cast of established names to sully themselves for the sake of gags that would be booed out of the writer’s room for a Chuck Lorre sitcom. So it’s got that going for it: if you like moderately big names regardless of the context, then “Jewtopia” merits a hearty recommendation. The thoroughly unlikable Ivan Sergei is Christian, a dim-witted son of an army dad (Peter Stormare, inexplicably continuing to play American southerners) who harbors a fetish for Jewish girls. His reasoning, that he wants the theoretically-controlling shishka bride to control and adjust every part of his life, is maybe the least offensive racial stereotype that peppers his stew.

In Brian Fogel's new romantic comedy Jewtopia, mixed signals are the order of the day, both from the characters to each other and from the movie to the audience. When redneck plumber Christian O'Connell (Ivan Sergei) finally gets Alison Marks's (Jennifer Love Hewitt) phone number, he hopes it will end the nine years he's spent mourning the Jewish college girlfriend who broke up with him because of his religion. Alison, the rabbi's daughter, loves Christian's Nascar jacket, which she mistakes for an indication of his sense of humor. In fact, Christian just likes Nascar. He also likes Jewish women. What should make viewers skeptical, besides Christian's fetish for Semites, is that despite living in Los Angeles, he appears only to know one actual Jew—his childhood best friend...

Where's Olivia Pope when you need her? Body of Proof's ambitious chief medical examiner and congressional candidate Kate Murphy (Jeri Ryan) hasn't even been elected yet and she's already facing her first potential scandal on this week's episode (Tuesday, 10/9c, ABC). While making an appearance at a ritzy Russian political gala, Kate strikes up a conversation with a tall, dark, secretive Ukrainian attaché named Sergei Damanov (Ivan Sergei). "Sergei and Kate have this very steamy, very passionate thing," Ryan says. "And then it gets complicated."

Even with a midseason return and a shorter run this time, Dana Delany is happy her latest series still has life.
It actually can be considered a new life, since the ABC medical mystery "Body of Proof" will reflect significant changes as its third season starts Tuesday, Feb. 19. Delany's Dr. Megan Hunt will be without several colleagues who were present from the show's start: Peter Dunlop (Nicholas Bishop), her investigator, who was stabbed by an enemy of Megan's in the Season 2 finale, and homicide detectives Bud Morris and Samantha Baker (John Carroll Lynch, Sonja Sohn).
Police work will remain a factor in "Body of Proof," though ... a bigger factor, in fact, given the main cast addition. Mark Valley ("Human Target," "Boston Legal") worked previously with Delany on the short-lived Fox serial "Pasadena," and their reunion makes him Tommy Sullivan, an investigator with whom Megan has a personal past -- a...

When ABC’s Body of Proof premieres its rejiggered Season 3 next Tuesday at 10/9c, among the new faces is one all-too-familiar to Dr. Megan Hunt — belonging as it does to the man who years ago broke her heart, police detective Tommy Sullivan (played by Human Target‘s Mark Valley). Here’s a first look at the ex-lovers’ partially unexpected reunion.

Actress Sarah Jane Morris played Julia Walker on Brothers & Sisters once upon a time, but her story continues as she signs on for a guest spot on ABC’s Body of Proof.
Body of Proof follows Dana Delany as medical examiner Dr. Megan Hunt, who was once a star neurosurgeon until a car accident ended her career. Season three kicks off in February of 2013 and in that season’s 12th episode, Sarah Jane Morris will appear as a flight attendant. TV Line reported that her character’s name is Pamela Jacks and she’ll become key in the aftermath of an “airline tragedy”. I wonder if this episode was at all inspired by the recent Denzel Washington film, Flight.
In season three, adds dashing former Human Target actor, Mark Valley will join the cast, so makr your calendar for Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 10/9c. It will take the place of Private Practice...

This weeks episode of The Mentalist, ‘Not One Red Cent’, served as a well crafted and very enjoyable stand-alone after last weeks very different, very emotional ‘Devil’s Cherry’. Due to unforeseen circumstances I was not able to review that episode. Needless to say, it was a 5 star 40+ minutes of television.
The opening and set up for the case-of-the-week involved Jane (Simon Baker) visiting a store to get his shoes repaired. For those of you who may not have noticed, Jane’s shoes are really, Really old. I loved his awkward relationship with the old cobbler, who feels faint and has to be laid to the ground in Jane’s arms after the bank robbers across the street fire bullets in their direction. This also means Jane’s shoes are unavailable to him for the entire episode, allowing him to wear a pair of ‘loaners’, in...

Despite all the gay characters on television, is the legacy of Will & Grace that gay men are limited to the role of Wills or Jack, in both TV portrayals and how we expect each other to behave? The "Will" and "Jack" stereotype is an issue, but I think the picture is rosier. We have a good number of shows where two gay men are full parts of the cast and in a relationship with another regular (as opposed to the short story arcs that counted as most of Will Truman's love life). That might not be as much progress as we'd like, but I definitely think we've moved forward.
NBC has ordered a mini-series from Brothers & Sisters creator Jon Robin Baitz. The Slap is based on an award-winning eight-episode Australian series about the aftershocks after...

The Mentalist Season 5 kicks off with ‘The Crimson Ticket’, in what eventually turns out to be the week after the events of the Season 4 finale ‘The Crimson Hat’. As I did with that episode, this will be a large recap and review, something I’ll be doing for all episodes considered ‘big’ (finale, premiere etc.) or ‘important’ (such as the upcoming 100th episode). All other episodes however, will be accompanied by a regular sized review much like my piece on 4.22 ‘So Long, and Thanks For All The Red Snapper’ last season.
We start with the Cbi and FBI butting heads. Tension between the two bureaus exists for a few reasons, 1. They blame each other for the botched operation that lead to the death of Luther Wainwright (Michael Rady) and ruined their chances of catching Red John, 2. They are fighting over custody of Lorelei Martins (Emmanuelle Chriqui...

Brace yourselves. This list of the Top 100 Greatest Gay Movies is probably going to generate some howls of protest thanks to a rather major upset in the rankings. Frankly, one that surprised the hell out of us here at AfterElton.
But before we get to that, an introduction. A few weeks ago we asked AfterElton readers to submit up to ten of their favorite films by write-in vote. We conducted a similar poll several years ago, but a lot has happened culturally since then, and a number of worthy movies of gay interest have been released. We wanted to see how your list of favorites had changed.
We also wanted to expand our list to 100 from the top 50 we had done previously. We figured there were finally enough quality gay films to justify the expansion. And we wanted to break out gay documentaries onto their own list (You'll find the...
