Why did George Clooney ghost Jennifer Aniston this summer? The two have been good friends for quite some time, but he left her out among others and it did not go ignored.
Is Jennifer Aniston Losing Friends?
Jennifer Aniston is a very well-known actor who is best known for starring in the TV show Friends as Rachel. Additionally, the 55-year-old actress has been in many films, including with Adam Sandler. With him she acted in, Just Go With It and Murder Mystery which recently got a sequel on Netflix.
She has previously been married to fellow actors Brad Pitt (2000-2005) and Justin Theroux (2015-2018). The Emmy winner is currently single with no kids.
After being in the industry so long, it makes sense that Aniston would have friends in the business. One well-known actor she is friends with, other than Adam Sandler, is George Clooney. The two did a drama short film together,...

Nicole Kidman’s diverse portfolio is proof of why she is counted among the best A-list actresses in Hollywood. From superhero to horror, sci-fi to action-thrillers, Kidman has made a mark in every genre. Her latest movie will be dabbling in eroticism, A24’s Babygirl.

Babygirl is the kind of movie Nicole Kidman has never done before. The 57-year-old’s new venture explores women’s sexuality and touches on the concepts of kink and social norms. It might be her best movie yet, even surpassing her 1999 erotic mystery Eyes Wide Shut with Tom Cruise.

What the heck is Make Joke From Face — besides the name of Nick Swardson’s new stand-up special on YouTube?
“It’s just an idiotic thing that me and my friend Chris would always say,” Swardson tells me. “My running thing with my specials is I don’t take them seriously in terms of naming them. My first hour special was called Seriously, Who Farted? The network was like, ‘Oh, that’s funny. But seriously, what are you going to call it?’”
Swardson’s the kind of comic who wants to get nominated for an award — Oscar or Razzie, it doesn’t matter — just so someone could stand at a podium, read a list of nominees and then conclude with “Seriously, Who Farted?”
“Comedy should just be absurd,” Swardson says. “It’s silly. I feel like people forget that.”

Nicole Kidman has never shied away from trying something new in the film industry. You will often see her stepping out of her comfort zone to play complex characters, including the time when she played Virginia Woolf in The Hours, for which she won an Oscar. Coming in from the Australian film industry, Nicole Kidman had to prove herself in Hollywood, and boy, she sure did.

Jon Hamm agrees that it’s time him and “The Morning Show” costar Jennifer Aniston made a romantic comedy together.
While speaking to IndieWire about his recent Emmy nominations for the Apple TV+ drama – where he played a conniving tech billionaire and Aniston’s love interest in Season 3 – and FX’s “Fargo,” Hamm was asked about the possibility of starring in a rom-com. Aniston had previously said she’d like the pair to be in one together.
“I have no idea what it would look like,” Hamm said. “I think it would just have to be funny and fun and it would let us do what we both do very well, which is be charming and funny and compelling. I certainly wouldn’t say no to that.”

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is gearing up for the new season, but his off-season activities are heating up ever since he catapulted to fame (above the Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes) with his crossover appeal as he and pop superstar Taylor Swift made headlines as a couple. Kelce is already set to make his acting debut in the upcoming Ryan Murphy horror series Grotesquerie. The NFL star will be starring alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance and Lesley Manville in the new FX show. Grotesquerie finds Murphy reuniting with his normal run of collaborators Jon Robin Baitz and Joe Baken.

Since Travis began dating Taylor Swift in 2023, he’s been brought into the spotlight more. While he’s undoubtedly made a name for himself as an impressive tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, now it’s time to make a name for himself as an actor.
Travis is said to be starring in a new buddy cop movie from the filmmaker behind John Wick, Chad Stahelski. The upcoming film Loose Cannons is described as an action-comedy that follows a pair of cops who have been partnered up in an attempt to make them tighten up on the job. Travis Kelce may have found his leading man role. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is in talks to lead the action-comedy “Loose Cannons” at Lionsgate. “John Wick” series director Chad Stahelski is on board to produce through his 87Eleven Entertainment banner, along with Jason Spitz and Alex Young. Tim Dowling is on board to write.
Production is likely a ways from kick-off, as Kelce will be occupied with the coming NFL season that begins in two weeks.
With 12 active seasons in the NFL, Kelce has taken steps into Hollywood over recent years, leading with his popular podcast “New Heights,” which he co-hosts alongside his brother, recently retired Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce. But Travis’ romantic relationship with Taylor Swift has boosted him to New Heights of celebrity in the past year. The athlete will host the game show “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” this fall. Recent Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce is attached to star in Loose Cannons, an action comedy in development at Lionsgate, sources have confirmed to Deadline.
Lionsgate declined comment.
Details as to the plot of the film are under wraps, and it’s expected that it’ll be some time before filming as the new NFL season is just weeks away. Script is from Timothy Dowling (Pixels). Travis Kelce is heading to the big screen.
The Kansas Chiefs football star, and boyfriend of Taylor Swift, has landed his first movie project as an actor.
Kelce is attached to star in Loose Cannons, an action comedy that is in the process of being set up at Lionsgate. Chad Stahelski, the John Wick filmmaker who has a first-look deal with Lionsgate, is producing with Jason Spitz, his partner at 87Eleven Entertainment, as well as Alex Young. Tim Dowling, whose credits include Adam Sandler comedy Just Go With It, wrote the script.
The premise centers on how every police precinct, at least in this movie’s world, has a crazy, out of control, rule-breaking officer on staff. But rather than pair them with a straight-arrow and by-the-book partner, the premise here is that unhinged person is paired with someone just as out of line as they are.

Although there have been tons of other entries in the sitcom field, perhaps none comes as close to fans’ hearts as Friends does. If anything, the comical pair up of Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Courtney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and the late Matthew Perry together will never not be iconic in fans’ eyes, even as the show soon turns 30.

Even after all these years, the love for the sitcom remains as vivid as ever, and Aniston, in a recent interview couldn’t help but express just how tremendous of a “gift” this series has come to them. But while talking about it, the actress slipped and said “all five of us” instead of counting in Perry’s sixth character as well, and her talking about it would just break every Friends fan’s heart.

According to regular Adam Sandler co-star Nick Swardson, getting a role in one of the Sandman’s movies is roughly equivalent to him calling you up to join a game of pick-up basketball. (Sandler might do that too.) Take, for example, the time Swardson was cast in Just Go With It alongside Jennifer Aniston.
“Sandler called me, I remember exactly where I was,” Swardson told David Spade and Dana Carvey on their Fly on the Wall podcast. “I was at Baby Blues BBQ in Venice, and Sandler calls me and he goes, ‘Hey, what are you doing?’ And I go, ‘I’m having dinner. Why? What’s up?’ And he goes, ‘Can you do a German accent?’ And I go, ‘What? Like this?’”
Here Swardson said something unintelligible in Germanic gibberish.
“And (Sandler) goes, ‘Okay, perfect. Call you tomorrow.’”
The next day, Sandler called back as promised. “We’re doing a movie in Hawaii.

Nicole Kidman is not one of the highest-paid actresses in the world for no reason. With her consistently incredible work in film and television, the actress has time and again proved that she can do anything and everything, no matter the genre. Whether it’s a thriller like Destroyer or a rom-com like Just Go with It, Nicole Kidman knows just how to do justice to her roles.

She has also worked as a producer on many projects including Taylor Sheridan’s spy thriller, Special Ops: Lioness. Nicole Kidman also has a supporting, yet pivotal role in the series, which was custom-made by Taylor Sheridan himself just so he could get the actress to come in front of the cameras for the show.

Nicole Kidman has been an international treasure going on four decades. Whether you’re tracking her many wigs (“The Undoing” is our favorite), admiring her textured and committed performances, or just standing up and saluting before every AMC Theatres showing, you’re probably honoring her in some way.
While five best actress Oscar nominations and one win (for “The Hours”) have been adequate markers of her success and endurance, conversations have been brewing for years about a lack of recognition for her remarkable artistic consistency.
“How many times does Nicole Kidman have to prove herself?” asked author Anne Helen Peterson in a 2017 essay for BuzzFeed, one that examined how esteem is or isn’t doled out to women in Hollywood, using Kidman as a template.

Comic Nick Swardson is following up a disastrous performance in Colorado with a promise to “make it up” to the town where he was escorted from the stage 20 minutes into his stand-up set.
On Sunday at the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek, an admittedly inebriated Swardson, 47, was removed from the stage to the sounds of an angry crowd booing him after he stammered through what appeared to be a nonsensical opening during his headlining appearance. On Tuesday, the Grandma’s Boy actor issued a statement about the incident.
“Just casually woke up on TMZ,” he wrote on X, referencing the news website’s article about the tanked performance. “Travel tip: don’t drink and take edibles in high altitude. F—ing brain diarrhea. I’ll make it up to you Beaver Creek!”
The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to representatives of Swardson for further comment on the incident,...

Exclusive: Having successfully adapted The Summer I Turned Pretty books into the popular Prime Video YA series, Wiip is aiming to do the same with another YA title. The independent studio has acquired Jennifer Lynn Barnes’ novel Little White Lies, to develop for television.
Like the breakout first season of Prime Video’s The Summer I Turned Pretty, Little White Lies takes place over a debutante season.
It is a mystery series about a teenager from the wrong side of the tracks who agrees to move in with her estranged maternal grandmother and do a debutante year, but only because she’s determined to figure out which scion of Southern high society is her biological father.
Wiip’s Paul Lee, Mark Roybal, and Nate Winslow will executive produce alongside Barnes and A Star Is Born executive producer Heather Parry, who brought the project to the studio.

Rachel Dratch used to be the ultimate "Oh, her!" comedian — the type of face and voice you'd always recognize, but whose name you might forget. Well, that didn't last long, because she was so memorable in tiny parts like "Southern Woman" ("Martin & Orloff") and "Female Mc" ("Winter Passing") at the outset of her career that she quickly grew into a beloved household name.
We know and love her now for her long tenure on "Saturday Night Live," where she helped create enduring characters like Debbie Downer, and in memorable roles in films like "Sisters," "Click," and "Just Go With It." Since she made her screen debut, Dratch has amassed an enormous 125 screen credits, and that's just counting individual projects, not episodes of TV, which would stretch into the multiple hundreds.
Those early years, where she was fighting for recognition with ounce inch of her comedic prowess, are well worth revisiting.

Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler have a bond like no other in Hollywood. Their friendship dates back long before they costarred in "Murder Mystery" and its 2023 sequel on Netflix, as the actors first met at a deli and bonded over french toast in the early '90s. "We were friends before 'Friends,'" Aniston said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in 2019, reflecting on her and Sandler's initial hangout more than 30 years ago. "We must have been like real family in another life."
The longtime pals famously played love interests in 2011's "Just Go With It," and the following year, Sandler spoke at Aniston's Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony, cracking jokes and declaring, "I love this girl. My wife loves this girl. The entire world loves this girl." Since then, the pair have remained closer than ever, hanging out with each other's families and praising one another in interviews any chance they get.

Adam Sandler is best known for his comedic roles, but if there's one thing he's serious about, it's his wife, Jackie. The couple first met on the set of his 1999 film "Big Daddy" and have pretty much been inseparable since. The Sandlers eventually tied the knot in 2003 and have since welcomed two daughters, Sunny, 14, and Sadie, 17 - both of whom star in Netflix's "You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah" with the couple.
Through the years, Adam and Jackie have given fans some sweet glimpses of their longtime romance. On June 22, Adam celebrated their wedding anniversary on Instagram by posting a photo from their wedding day, writing, "Happy 20th my sweet Jackie! Your 'I do' was the best gift of my life." He continued, "My heart has been yours since the first second I saw you and I love and appreciate your devoted soul more and more each day.

Los Angeles, Aug 12 (Ians) Britney Spears has said that she is now done with using Botox, and is perfectly happy with alternative cosmetic facial treatments.
In a new Instagram video, the 41-year-old pop singer — who recently reconnected with her sons — told her followers that she has found an alternative treatment to support anti-aging. She also derided Botox, calling it a ‘horrible’ medicine, saying that for her it has only made things a lot worse.
The closely-shot snippet showed the singer with a very bare and broken kind of face with her blonde hair falling over her chest as she ranted on the camera.
In her lengthy post on Instagram, she wrote: “Ok… I have a big forehead and I seriously need bangs but I feel like I can’t see sometimes with bangs!!! I’m sharing this because it actually really does work. Too many times, these so-called ‘best doctors’ do amazing Botox.

August has arrived, and with it, the last full month of summer-worthy shows and flicks, at least for 2023. From all the summer sensations to food weather, carnival fun and, of course, the lack of school, the streamer’s film slate will update with some appropriate flicks like “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2,” “Eat Pray Love,” “Despicable Me” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” respectively.
If you’re one of those who senses the change in the air as soon as the salty summer heat gives way to crisp fall fog, “Heartstopper” Season 2, complete with its cartoon drawings of leaves, waits for you starting August 3. “The Lincoln Lawyer: Season 2 Part 2” concludes the two-part followup to the legal drama starring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo. “Heart of Stone,” a big tentpole film starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan, promises action-lovers a good time.

With its list of new releases for August 2023, Netflix is giving the anime world another shot.
No, we’re not talking about the streamer’s usual anime offerings – which are present this month in the form of Ragnarok season 3 (Aug. 24) and other titles – we’re talking about Netflix’s attempt to make live-action anime adaptations a thing. Following the relative failure of its Cowboy Bebop remake, Netflix is giving it another go, this time with arguably an even bigger anime classic. One Piece will premiere on Aug. 31. Telling the story of beloved straw hat wearing pirate Monkey D. Luffy, this adaptation will attempt to do original creator Eiichiro Oda and his many fans proud.

The American Film Institute is indefinitely postponing the AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony, dedicated to Nicole Kidman.
In a prepared statement the organization said Monday: “For nearly half a century, the AFI Life Achievement Award has convened artists and audiences in celebration of excellence in the art form. Due to the division in our community at this time, AFI has decided to postpone this year’s event with the goal to offer a celebratory environment worthy of our recipient.”
“Nicole Kidman has enchanted audiences for decades with the daring of her artistry and the glamour of a screen icon,” said Kathleen Kennedy, chair of the AFI Board of Trustees when the initial award was announced on November 22, 2022. “She is a force both brave in her choices and bold in each performance. As befitting its status as one of the world’s biggest companies, every now and then Amazon likes to take a big swing with its Prime Video originals. With its list of new releases for April 2023, the streamer is taking one of its biggest swings yet.
Though it’s not quite as vast or expensive as fellow Prime Video series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Citadel (premiering April 28) is a massive, massive undertaking. Starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, this spy series is described as “an expansive and groundbreaking global event comprising a mothership series and several local language satellite series.” This means that the Russo Brothers-produced project will eventually feature several spinoffs in multiple countries and languages around the world. Neat-o!

To quote the evil Noah Cross in Chinatown, “Politicians, ugly buildings and whores all get respectable if they last long enough.” The same can be said of Adam Sandler, who spent years as a piñata for critics as a result of such mindless comedies as Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore. Now he’s an acclaimed actor, his name floated by Oscar prognosticators for such superb performances as the ones he gave in Uncut Gems and Hustle. He’s even joined the ranks of such illustrious comedic talents as Richard Pryor and George Carlin in winning the Mark Twain Prize.
But Sandler’s ultimately gotta be Sandler, and that huge deal with Netflix has to be fulfilled. Hence the arrival of Murder Mystery 2, the sequel to the critically panned 2019 comedy co-starring Jennifer Aniston that became the streamer’s biggest hit that year. This film brings back the goofy, doofus Sandler...

The only reason Murder Mystery 2 or even its predecessor exists is as a star vehicle in the most literal sense of the word. The recipe is simple: Sign Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, put them in glamorous locations with lots of action and schtick, and then set it loose on a global platform – Netflix – that can easily sell these kinds of recognizable shenanigans in all points of the world. It worked in 2019, and it works again now, only this time with the action and stunts so ramped up they almost overtake the plot, such as it is. The template and characters were firmly established in the original which had our stars caught up in a murder in which they were suspects, but eventually save the day before the entire cast of characters wind up dead in the process.

Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston have tackled the rom-com with 2011’s Just Go With It and action with 2019’s Murder Mystery and its new sequel; now the longtime friends are eyeing a drama for their next collaboration.
“We were saying we would love to be able to do something serious together — not that this isn’t serious, but more in the dramatic side,” Aniston told The Hollywood Reporter at the Murder Mystery 2 premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday. “I just think he’s so exquisite as a dramatic actor as well and it’s not easy to swing back and forth.”
Sandler, who in recent years has received acclaim for his heavier roles in Uncut Gems and Hustle, confirmed he’s also in, saying of a dramatic project for the duo, “That would be great. She’s amazing, she’s a deep young lady, I would love to do something different with her.

The jury system can by trying, but “Jury Duty” — a doc-style comedy series coming to Freevee on April 7 — examines it through the eyes of one juror. The catch: The actual juror, Ronald Gladden, doesn’t realize the case is fake and everyone else is an actor. All the crazy machinations inside the courtroom are planned, and everyone is in on it, except for Gladden. Will this lone juror be able to find his way to justice despite all of the chaos surrounding the case?

Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore seem like the kind of costars you'd want to work with again and again - especially if you're Adam Sandler. The duo showed up to support their costar and longtime friend as he received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on March 19. The star-studded ceremony - which took place at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall in Washington DC - was also attended by Idina Menzel, Chris Rock, Steve Buscemi, Ben Stiller, Pete Davidson, and Adam's wife, Jackie Sandler.
"As I look at this goofy award I'm holding, I just can't help but think this just may be the weapon used to bludgeon me, by an angry intruder," Sandler joked in his acceptance speech, per The Hollywood Reporter. He then went on to discuss how much he loves making movies with people he loves. "When someone asks me: those bad reviews you get - how does that make you feel?...

Jennifer Aniston covered her mouth in shock when she accidentally swore on a live taping of an English television programme.
The actress joined “This Morning” hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield for a conversation about her and Adam Sandler’s upcoming “Murder Mystery” sequel, where she described an on-set occurrence as being one of “s**ts and giggles.”
Aniston didn’t realize that the show was live, thinking that her potty mouth could be “bleeped out,” however she immediately clued in when Willoughby and Schofield quickly apologized to viewers for the vulgar language.

Hulu’s list of new releases for March 2023 features an event long in the making.
On March 6, History of the World, Part II will finally arrive more than 40 years after Mel Brooks’ classic comedy History of the World, Part I. first premiered. Of course, Brooks never had any intention of adding future parts to his ahistorical film, but that yet makes the arrival of Part II so many years later even funnier. Described as a four-night comedy event, History of the World, Part II will release two episodes a day through March 9. Brooks returns to write and executive produce this series and will star alongside Nick Kroll, Wanda Sykes, and Ike Barinholtz. Guest stars include…everyone. Basically just everyone.
