ARMYs couldn't contain their excitement over the picture. Many speculated that the BTS member was in the studio to record his first solo album, which has tentatively been dubbed as Kim Seokjin 1 (KSJ1) by fans. "It feels unreal to get so regular updates for Jin," one fan wrote. Another added, "Oh my god, our Moon is back in studio recording! Can't wait for what he's going to present, and honestly between his range from Epiphany to Super Tuna, I'm sure we'll get a whole range of songs," while a third wrote, "He is cooking the KSJ1, we should be scared!"

On the work front

Prior to his enlistment, Jin had made his solo debut with The Astronaut. The single, which was released in October 2022, centered around Jin's love and connection with his fans. As per reports, the BTS star will be releasing his debut solo album in the fourth quarter of this year i.e. between October to December 2024.
Additionally, just a day ago, it was reported that the singer is set to make an appearance as a guest worker on MBC's outdoor adventure variety show Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island (It's a Good Thing to Rest Well). The BTS star's episode, that was reportedly filmed on an uninhabited island late last month, is scheduled to air in the near future.
