This work is dynamic, complex, and highly collaborative.
It involves immigrant, refugee, and student leaders and individuals, government workers, employers, community-based organizations, and a host of national and global non-profit organizations. The ultimate goal is the establishment of sustainable solutions that strengthen economies and enable immigrants, refugees, and international students to thrive.
The WES Gateway Program
The WES Gateway Program supports the educational and career advancement of refugees and other forcibly displaced individuals who cannot obtain official academic documents from their country of education.
Cited by UNESCO as a model of best practice, WES’ Gateway serves qualified individuals who have limited proof of their academic achievements as a result of adverse circumstances in their country of education. The program is currently open to people educated in Afghanistan, Eritrea, Iraq, Syria, Türkiye, Ukraine, and Venezuela.
