Ed Theakston

A graduate of the East 15 Acting School, Ed has been performing since a very young age, starting out in musical theatre. While musical theatre was their introduction to performing, they have developed a strong interest in Greek classics and contemporary theatre.
On screen they played The Barman (Nathan) in independent British feature film "The Renata Road" which won awards at a host of film festivals across the world.
Their stage credits include the leading role Orestes in "Electra-Orestes", written and directed by David Bullen, Flute in "A Midsummer Night's Dream", Camillo in "The Winters' Tale", Tommy in "Eight Percent" at the Bush Theatre and Buttons in "Cinderella" (Ickenham). Ed can also be seen in the UK Music Video Awards winning video for Sam Fender's breakthrough single "Dead Boys".
Most recently, Ed appeared in the darkly hilarious stage play "Skin in the Game" as Mike/Derek at the New Wimbledon Theatre.
Ed is also a writer and is an alumni of Soho Theatre Writers' Lab. They have also directed a number of plays and musicals.
