History
During one of his adventures with the Avengers, Quicksilver became trapped in a state in which the rest of the world seemed motionless to him. While fighting a group of mysterious energy beings, Pietro stumbled into two kids that had a turtle on a paper bag and were preparing to smash it with a hammer. Pietro rescued the turtle, and decided to keep it for company, dubbing it "Mister Dibbles." He took it everywhere he went and talked to it despite the fact that the turtle was unmoving like the rest of the world.[1]
When Pietro's sister, the Scarlet Witch, managed to temporarily breach into the motionless dimension, she used her powers to unfreeze Mister Dibbles.[2] The turtle's company helped Quicksilver sway away from insanity due to the isolation. When Pietro decided to take a final stand against the energy creatures, he left Mister Dibbles in a pond in Avengers Mansion for Jarvis to find it.[3] When Pietro returned to the normal world, Jarvis reunited him with Mister Dibbles.[4]
