Hotel terbaik di Rovaniemi

On our last night in the santasport apartments & have been very happy with the accommodation. Really spacious & clean on arrival. Rooms are pleasantly warm have plenty of cutlery/plates etc. kettle, microwave, hairdryer, toaster, dishwasher, big fridge/freezer. Loads of storage space for cases & belongings. 2 bathrooms one with sauna, 2 bedrooms. Beds were comfy, loads of extra pillows, extra duvet & plenty of extra towels. Big TV, there seems to be a place to plug a fire stick in but I forgot batteries for remote! Never used any of the facilities in the main hotel like pool/bowling etc as we were so busy out & about. Didn’t eat there either, we brought stuff with us or ate out. The staff were helpful when I had one or two queries & room was ready 3 hours early (lucky I guess) Its a good 10-15 min drive to Santa Village you need a car or taxis, I couldn’t see anything in the immediate vicinity, such as shops/restaurants & certainly not walking distance in -30! We had cretins staying above us who would bang the doors until 2am - absolutely not the hotels fault but maybe bring ear plugs. All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending.

We stayed at Arctic City Hotel on mid-March for 3 nights. Our room was a style double room on the 3rd floor with street view. The hotel's location, at the very center of Rovaniemi, is undoubtedly great. Everything one might need was in walking distance. All tour operators, shopping centers, restaurants, cafe, supermarkets and bus stations (including the bus station for Santa's Village) were literally on your doorstep. Even the central railway station, the interurban bus station and the Arcticum were just 10min away on foot even with snow. You could even walk to the observation tower of the Ounasvaara Fell, following a great path through the snowy forest (aprox. 30 min). The room was clean and warm, not too large but comfortable for a couple, with a quite comfortable bed and an interesting deco. However, the bathroom was not spacious and the shower tube was tiny. Moreover, the shower glass panels should be replaced or better set-up since the floor got soaking wet when we had a shower. The breakfast was very tasty, with plenty of food and very well served in the hotel's quite cozy restaurant. The staff was super friendly and super helpful, both in the reception and the restaurant! To sum up, the owners of this hotel should consider some refurbishment of the rooms and definitely the bathrooms, in order to meet one's expectations from a 4-star hotel and for a better value-for-money rate. Its great pros are the location, the staff and the breakfast. Despite the small bathroom, we really enjoyed our stay there and we would visit this hotel again.

Apesar de nos ser pedido para escolher um horário para o pequeno almoço, não havia controle efetivo, resultando em confusão e desordem no buffet. 2. **Falta de Limpeza e Comodidades no Quarto**: A falta de creme na casa de banho e a inexistência de limpeza da bancada durante os 7 dias de estadia foram decepcionantes. 3. **Acomodações Insuficientes para Roupas**: A maior dificuldade foi a ausência de um roupeiro adequado no quarto, especialmente desafiador para uma família de quatro pessoas com roupas de inverno volumosas. Apenas quatro ganchos na parede não eram suficientes para manter as roupas organizadas, resultando em uma desordem constante no quarto. Conclusão: Embora a localização do Hotel Santa Claus seja ideal, as falhas na organização do pequeno almoço, na limpeza e nas acomodações dos quartos comprometem a experiência de estadia. Recomendaria aos gestores do hotel uma revisão nestes aspectos para garantir que futuros hóspedes tenham uma experiência mais agradável e confortável.

We stayed for 3 nights over new year and had a fabulous time. This was our second visit to Lapland, we love it! Check in was very poor, we arrived around lunch time and check in is at 4, the lady said our room wasn’t ready but to return in a couple of hours and it might be, if so we could check in early. We did this but someone else was on reception by this point and he made everyone wait until 3.30-4 to check in despite the room keys all being lined up behind him. When we only had a short space of time there we wanted to get in the room and get wrapped up in all our layers and out into the snow asap! We stayed in chalet 74 which was next to the lake, it was perfect, lots of space, very warm, comfy beds. There is a lovely area next to the lake, this is a sauna and is an extra cost, we didn’t use it but there is a little cabin which sells drinks, a teepee with a fire lit and an inside seating area which looked over the lake. We enjoyed sitting here with a drink. Breakfast was good. We only ate off the snack menu once, very limited menu but burger was good. Buffet dinner was very expensive and was going to cost £150 for 2 adults and 2 kids so we decided against this. We got taxi’s into Rovaniemi and to Santa Claus village, very easy via an app. Roughly 10mins to Rovaniemi and 15 to SCV. It was very cold when we were there and even the locals were struggling with -35 the day we left. Foot and hand warmers are a must. We had frozen hair and eyelashes! We were in the middle of nowhere last time so it was good to be closer to amenities this time. Snowman World was much better than we expected, SCV very expensive in general. We did all the usual activities on our previous trip on a much less commercial basis so didn’t need to do any of this at SCV. Ranua Zoo was a nice day out, the main animals weren’t out but they are very focussed on animal welfare. I would visit Lapland every year if I could!!

Check in was quick loved my room. Tub is awesome the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great lots of options. The temperature in room was a bit cold. I spoke with front desk she said there was extra heaters. I declined it was just odd to me that room had no operating heat.

The Glass Igloo is small and not much space to open the luggage, however they have a very nice hot water shower which has around max. 25mins which you will be able to relax from whole day travel ☺️ . The location is not near airport, takes almost 40mins. shuttle bus from Santa Clause village to hotel. Though this location is really good for the chance of seeing Northern Lights ! We did ! Unluckily their ice bar and ice restaurant both under renovation and we don’t have chance to experience. That’s the downside of it.

Que dire..... tout ce passait plus ou moins bien pour notre première fois en Laponie. Réputée si magique!!!! L'hôtel est ce qu'il est...sans fioriture mais suffisant pour le peux qu'on y est. Mais quelle déception et colère je ressent ce soir, 25 Décembre 2021 à 21h43 pétante. Mon ami et moi même avions réservé une table au restaurant de l'hôtel pour le repas dit de Noël. Prix annoncé 69€ par tête. Ok. Repas de fête on peut si attendre. Mais la...... une fois arrivé au restaurant. De un on ne trouve pas notre réservation et on nous fait poireauter.... et de deux on arrive sur un BUFFET!!!! Avec de la purée, du gratin de choux fleur, de la pseudo viande de renne et du poisson genre perche cabillaud... et en entre du saumon fumée et des salades diverses de pâtes ou autres... et en dessert des parts de cheesecake surgelés sans coulis... une sorte de mousse vanille en sachet, de la salade de pastèque!!!! En décembre. Point..... et pas de coupe de champagne à ce prix là. HONTEUX...SHAMEFUL....VERGONZOSO...HÄPEÄLLISTÄ....مخجل...beschämend. Vraiment déçu et écœuré du pognon que ses gens se font sur notre dos. On nous prend vraiment pour des pigeons. C'est dégueulasse vraiment. Nul doute que cela restera marqué dans ma mémoire....

The hotel is not far from the Santa Claus Village and is easily accessible by walking (Just 10 min). First time staying in an Igloo and it is definitely worth the money. Room is small but clean and well-decorated. Breakfast has wide variety of selections. Staff is very friendly and she gave us an Igloo beside the forest which is isolated and quiet. Love waking up every morning lying on the bed enjoying the views of White Christmas Trees surrounding our room. The glass is installed with heater which can melt the frost anytime when needed. The only disappointed is that we didn't get to see Northern Lights for our 2 nights stay. Will definitely stay here again if back in Rovaniemi.

We booked this penthouse to have a nice weekend and enjoy beautiful view from the balcony. We carefully selected a very nice stay among all possible stays in Swedish Lapland and Finnish Lapland region reading all reviews and making a long research for a high-quality leisure stay. Instead we were forced to listen to around 9 hours of very loud unbearable rock through the whole evening. From 15:30-01 :00 90DB noise for 9 hours (harmful for health) 90 decibels is a high noise level, equivalent to the noise generated by a leaf blower or the sound level of a concert. Compared to 80 dB, 90 dB is 10 times more intense and twice as loud. Whenever you are exposed to this noise level, you should wear hearing protection. One could hear music even in the sauna. After two hours of nonstop noise and starting headache I contacted the host about full refund I got an answer that there is a festival just outside the building. Here is what I got as a reply: ”Is the music coming from outside? There is Santa open air music festival in the park by the riverside going thru the weekend.” Since host did not solve the problem I had to call to San Francisco USA airbnb support to solve the problem. Next reply from host was not apology and problem solving too. It was: ”This is a public outdoor event which have been promoted by the city of Rovaniemi. So it’s a well-known event, which attracts a lot of attention and visitors. We don’t ask our guests why they come to Rovaniemi. I can assume that many of our other guests come specifically because of this festival.” ”You cannot expect us to repost information about all public events in Rovaniemi.” I would not have booked this stay if I would have known that there is a very loud music in the whole apartment all night long non-stop. I do not know if anyone would. Since the attitude towards guest is so ignoring - I do not recommend this host. After getting in touch with Airbnb support I had a message from the host where the host offered second night instead of 82% refund (we would simply go home from that airbnb, the apartment was untouched yet). I accepted the night just to stop stressing. After listening to many hours of loud terrible noise I had a bad head-ache and a bad sleep. I would love to go home and regret making a booking. *it took us 1 hour to find parking outside before we checked-in. We parked on the river shore. Cleanlyness big minus: around toilet all walls in urine, dust on window floors and corners (non-professional cleaning) Hospitality non-professional. Host is interested in getting money, not in providing a nice and responsible service.
