Paramount Media Networks, called MTV Networks from 1984[1] until 2011, is a media company. It was formed in New York City in 1984. It manages the operations of many television channels and Internet brands. This includes the original MTV (Music Television) channel in the United States. The division is owned by Paramount Global.
