- Simon Le Bon survived two incidents involving water. The first incident was during the filming of the music video "Wild Boys". Simon was strapped to a windmill that was being used in a scene in the video when it suddenly stopped mid-way and left him with his head underwater. Everyone on the video shoot was trying to move the windmill blades so that they could get Simon's head out of the water.
The second incident took place off southern coast of Cornwall, United Kingdom. Simon was asleep in the hull of his 50 foot yacht "Drum" while his team mates were operating the boat when it lost its keel and capsized with Simon, his brother, and two other crew members still trapped inside. Simon was trapped for over 40 minutes while rescue workers tried to get him out of the boat. - He is working on a new album with Duran Duran as their previous one "Pop Trash" was not successful.
- He and his brothers, Dave Le Bon (born October 17, 1961) and Jonathan Le Bon (born May 3, 1965), were all child singers, dancers and television commercial actors in the early 1970s.
- Himself, Nick Rhodes and the other three original members of Duran Duran are back together. After a successful world tour in 2003 and early 2004, the band released the album "Astronaut" on October 12, 2004.
- Has three daughters with Yasmin Le Bon: Amber Le Bon (Amber Rose Tamara Le Bon) (b. August 25, 1989); Saffron Le Bon (Saffron Sahara Le Bon) (b. September 25, 1991); and Tallulah Le Bon (Tallulah Pine Le Bon) (b. September 10, 1994).
- I am not a snob - ask anybody. Well, anybody who matters.
- I have very strange dreams, especially when I'm traveling. I had one recently that someone was sending me messages by spider. A spider would crawl up my right arm, go across my shoulders and down my left arm and then I'd understand the message. The messages came from my right hand - they were really stupid. I don't think it'll catch on.
- I'd spent my entire teenage years suffering one unrequited love affair after the other. I was so shy I couldn't even talk to girls. If I fancied them, I'd follow them home, but I didn't have the guts to approach them. I was a teenage stalker. The same went for John. The first time I saw him he was this geek with nicotine-stained fingers, trembling with fear at the prospect of having to meet people. And his name wasn't even John. It was Nigel. He was a Nigel with glasses, poor sod. I remember staring at his face and slowly realizing that he was rather beautiful, exquisite in fact. I mean, this was the best looking guy I'd seen in years, maybe my whole life. Losing his glasses and changing his name to John was the best thing he ever did. He was a man transformed. To see him in action was incredible. He could charm the knickers off anyone.
- I've always rather fancied John. We're much more into each other.
- Meeting Andy Warhol... cool, great... but it wasn't like someone giving me a Ferrari or anything.
