- Enrico Altmann grew up in Leipzig/ East Germany with a passion for the craft of filmmaking. In the years following Germany's reunification he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in visual effects and set decoration. With over 45 films to his credit he has worked with some of the top visual effects companies in the industry. In 2006 and 2007 he received award nominations from the Visual Effects Society including for "The Good Shepherd". The past couple of years kept him busy working on stop-motion animated feature films such as "Kubo And the Two Strings" or "Missing Link" and "Alien Xmas" as well as animated TV shows like "Robot Chicken" and the MARVEL show "M.O.D.O.K."- IMDb Mini Biography By: Enrico Altmann
- Received permanent resident status after winning in the Diversity Immigrant Visa program also known as Green Card Lottery.
- Was inspired to become a model maker at age 13 after watching Ridley Scott's "Alien" followed by the "Making Of".
- Before becoming a model maker Enrico worked as a tour leader for European travel companies throughout the United States and Canada.
- Enrico appeared as an extra in scenes of "The Good Shepherd" (2006) and "Shutter Island" (2010) after being digitally composited into the model sets he helped creating for the films.
- If he is not working on an exciting new show Enrico is usually following his other passion, exploring the world on his travels.
